So can you catch Crappie anywhere or are they at specific places? Just really learning how to fish im a lady beginner. I purchased and open faced rod and reel and still getting used to it. I noticed while watching these types of vids they are all open faced. Im used to using a 404 lol. I also noticed alot of afternoon fishing is this a better time to fish I always thought early mornings.
Early morning can be great. I'm just not a morning person so most of my videos are early to late afternoon. If you are an early bird for sure get out as early as you can. Finding crappie can be hard sometimes. This time of year, crappie are in a pre-spawn pattern. Look back in the creeks/coves in 4-12 feet of water around brush our blowdown trees. For a beginning fisherman I would say try minnows for sure if you can.
Those white twister tales are hard to beat for crappie, anytime of the year! Nice catch! Thanks for sharing...
