    Those are definitely some bad ass machines. I'm sure they don't come cheap. Really cool to see how it's done in a real locksmith setting. Tell your nephew I said hello and thank you for helping out my buddy Billy. 🙂

    Nice to see a video that’s not about just lock picking. In my property Maintance business I could never justify the cost of a code cutting machine. I’ve been using depth and spacing key sets for years now. Works great for me. However if one of you Pros are thinking to step up to a Code Max I’m in the market for a bargain priced HPC.

    Very interesting video. I'm still saving up for a Lishi hand cutter, so this is futuristic stuff to me.🤣 Anything beats hand filing a key. That codemax is the way to go, if you can afford one.

    This was really cool, I'd love to see more like this. Ones thing I'm interested to know is if a customer gives you a key to make a duplicate of, how do you figure out which type of key to use (one that will fit in the same keyway). I assume there must be some way you organize all the different key blanks you have

    • @billbacardi3262
      @billbacardi3262  6 лет назад +1

      SkeletonKey Glad you enjoyed this video sir, as far as key blanks it pretty much comes down to experience there are a couple of sights on the internet where you can cross reference different blanks but I think that you look pretty much like an ass looking up a key on your phone in front of a customer lol. There are thousands of different keyways out there and I can pretty much just look at the key and tell you what it is my friend

      Jeff Moss They are awesome machines buddy, but the Code Max has made my life so much easier and like I said I have never cut a bad key on it Jeff. For cutting that kind of key I actually like it better than the Futura buddy

    Hey Bill I have a HPC 1200 and like you said it is an industry Standard I am curious about the futura, how do you like it?
    I am considering one but it is a significant cost but will allow me to do a larger selection of automotive. would you recommend it and what programmer/Cloner would you recommend? Sorry been extremely busy havent been able to watch much lately.

    • @billbacardi3262
      @billbacardi3262  6 лет назад

      Paul Chaulk The truth is I'm not that happy with the Futura my nephew seems to like it but it seems like a lot of work to run something through it and cut a key I've used it a few times and I go back to my laser pro for high security car keys. Half the price and half the work buddy. So basically is it worth the money ? I don't think so my friend.

  • @joshboissonneault9600
    @joshboissonneault9600 3 года назад

    Curious why you use the HPC code Max more than the Futura. I'm looking to by a code machine, and I'd like know why the preference?

    • @billbacardi3262
      @billbacardi3262  3 года назад

      They both work very well sir, I just like the ease of the Code Max, you turn it on enter your DSD and the bitting load a key blank and your done.
