Totally agree. There was that one house about a year ago in McClean on the river edge that was for sale and it had the view worth $29,000,000. This has nothing special about the lot, the house has no unique features...it has no charm. Simply, a bunch of rooms slapped together. If I had that kind of money, that other house I would have bought. This house I wouldn't give a second look.
So here's my take.... the first price you pay for in luxury real estate is not for the property itself. It's location, more than anything else, plus the uniqueness of the location. 5 acres inside the Beltway, this close to DC, in the Langley neighborhood, etc.... this price tag doesn't shock me at all. Think of a water bottle. You buy it in a grocery store (or even Costco) and it's pretty cheap. But when you buy it at a professional game or even the front desk of a luxury hotel, that water bottle is significantly more.
Wonderful architecture---lovely grounds---Love this house but I could do without the basement level---The house is elegant yet liveable---A few more colorful pieces of art and large area rugs and this house is a winner---A bit over priced perhaps---Oh One thing---Behind those trees are a ball park and a track and field area---Sounds from games that close? Not sure
Anyone who pays more than $5 Million for this is insane. When I first saw it I knew it was around $3 million. It's in the Virginia countryside and only 5+ acres. Not worth a penny over $5 Mil.
The house is nice i would start my offer at 15 million and work my way down. Because the owners or realtors know for a fact, 29 million is non-starter. Aslong as this house sits on the market, price will go down.
The home is huge & the grounds are lovely, but I could never see myself paying $30mil for this. There is so much inside I'd want to renovate. Take the kitchen for instance, love the stove, but the rest seems cheaply done & entirely too much black. The whole house has too much black & in some places to much gold
@@tylerjones5406 4:51 it says Price History - Jun 15 2010 $3.4million. whatever, I aint paying 30mill to live in America. you couldn't pay me 30mill to move there.... even if it has a golf course near by... why do all listings show where the nearest golf course is??. I fucking hate golf, I wanna know where are the hookers and dive bars are. maybe include that in the video.
The layout is horrible... driveway and entrance way too small... backyard is conctete.. and too small. thye are afraid to show you the entire room... they show small upclose shots of things like the refrigerator (not the kitchen). $30,000,000.00 LOL... in the middle of nowhere and "no view". highschool nois 30 yeards away... can you imagine game nights..the anouncers and the band??? holy cow... this will never sell... tot even for $10,000,000.00 This is a JOKE for the price. AND LOCATION.
An amazing, beautiful house and property.
Thank you God for letting me see this house
Absolutely Beautiful Home 🥰
Beautiful home
Wonderful place❤
I like it so much.
There is nothing about this property that screams to me that it is worth nearly 30 million dollars!

I agree fully
I agree, 30m USD for a 6-bedroom house is insanely insane
Bingo

Wow. Just wow
Very pretty 🤩

Nice. but not a big fan of the minimal, black and white look
7 or 8 millions tops. NOT 30 MILLIONS!!!
$1,373 / sqft is so pricy .Most of the $ for Mclean or Greatfalls around $400-$500 /sqft
I thought this was a 2 mil dollar home 😂😂😂😂😂

Way too many trees that are messy and can wreak havoc during storms; no indoor gold simulator, bowling alley and basketball
Severely overpriced with cheap staging furniture 😒

Yeah, kind of seems like an $8 million home to me (which would mean that I'm only $7,500,000 short, rather than $29,500,000 short).
💜
This is way over priced, this house isn't worth it,this is may be 8 to 10 million
Who tf pays $30 million to live next to the CIA? 😂😂😂 Hard pass.
should have bought this in 2010 for $3mill. $27mill price increase.... erm, pass.
The house wasn’t built in 2010…

It's DMW area 25 minutes away from Washington DC
Why would anyone need a 22,000 square foot home? It's so absurd.
huge family maybe?
21,000 maybe but not 22,000.
Who want to be that close to the current resident of the White House?
Oh, I don't know, I guess just the 10 million people who live in the combined Washington-Baltimore statistical area.
He checked it out🫱🏼🫲🏾
