If you run the belt behind the UBL ( lace the belt starting from the front, then running it behind the UBL, then back out to the front ) you get better stick and sits more comfortable
I've seen it both ways. The way he has mounted it prevents it from sliding along the belt when the belt is off (storage, transport, etc.), which can aid in consistent draw stroke.
I'm buying this belt. Does the EDC belt make the whole system feel any more rigid or does it Feel about the same with the overlap belt when everything is together.

Belt hack stick Velcro onto the accessory clips to add more stability.
Put velcro on the inner facing side of the mag clips.

Adhesive backed velcro on UBL works pretty well too and isn't that much of a pain to remove if you need to.
