Breaking Tempered Glass

Watching this cause the towel rack we have had in our bathroom for 4 yrs randomly broke this morning 9/27/21. I had to get pliers and gloves to clean it up before my toddler woke up.

How about if it is thicker ?I have a glass table I need to break . And the glass is about an inch thick

What was the thickness of both glasses ?

for standard residential tempered glass probably 3.1mm
