I've been watching your videos for several weeks now, and words cannot express how grateful I am for this resource that you are making available. Thank you so much!
Oh my🤯😍 this is fabulous! I'm going through a basic Hebrew class . Such a building block. Blessing to the couple doing it. LOVE THEM! I HAVE CHILLS WHILE WRITING THIS. BLESSINGS!
Quase desisti do hebrew, até que descobri Beth e Abrão e mudou tudo. Em poucos meses já estou alfabetizado e avançando rapidamente para o domínio da língua. Maravilhosa sua didática Beth. Parabéns e muito obrigado.
I find it so intriguing to hear the family trees of these well known Biblical figures explained in clear Hebrew! It’s also something to marvel how the pronunciations changed through time within Hebrew and Aramaic, and do they were borrowed into Greek with certain changes, and further into Latin, and so forth. At long last I feel as if I’m arriving at the source! I bet many people feel that way when approaching such an ancient language. And how did Abel come from Hebel? 😂 Darn those easily-lost /h/ sounds...!

@@AlephwithBeth Thank you guys for the amazing work you are doing! This is greatly needed and i'm personally catching up. Compared with the lessons I've paid for, this is so much more effective! I wish I had found your channel earlier. God bless you guys and the ministry❤️❤️❤️
Thanks! Did you start watching in order from lesson 1? Actually we don't translate to English on purpose, because you will ultimately learn better if you understand the Hebrew directly without forming a habit of translating everything into English. You can read more here: freehebrew.online/why-our-method/
I very much appreciate your method! It seems much more natural to me than rote memorization. However, I've encountered a small problem in the schedule for Day 5 of Week 4: it says to practice writing the new letters but I haven't seen how to hand write them, and am particularly uncertain about how to write lamed... (Next day...) Sorry! - I looked deeper into the Resources page and found the alphabet practice worksheets under "Printable Worksheets". Maybe it would help if you referenced that page in the Study Plan when says to practice writing new letters, so people are more aware that it exists. Thanks again! Your program is such a blessing!

Shalom Beth, ani Dr. Adit me-hodu (India). First of all thanks a million for such wonderful videos... They are really making Hebrew learning so interesting !!! My question was... Some letters like מ or ת or ל appear as they are at some places, while at other places with a dot enclosed inside their shape (NOT the one below the letters which denotes the vowel "i" ). Like the word אֵלֶה which you hv written in the video. I am not able to type it here coz my mobile keyboard does not hv that feature. So what does that dot denote ?
Welcome! There are three different dots that all have the same appearance (a dot in the middle of the letter) but serve a different purpose. They are: dagesh, mappiq, and shuruk. We have a couple of free grammar books linked on the Resources page on our website where you can find a more detailed description: freehebrew.online/resources/
What’s interesting to me is that David here is represented as a man with dark complexion. While here in Italy and among churches here, David was always kinda portrayed as a blond hair light eyes light complexion guy. I assume in Israel they don’t have this picture of him.
Madam it is very nice and intresting God bless you Please display the pronenciation and meening in english I am finding difficuit to follow please re do all your vedioes

Wait 'til you learn what the name Eve sounds like in Hebrew! Totally unrecognizable :D
Wonder if the ה was dropped as “the” at some point? Eh sound to A doesn’t seem to hard of a jump as well…especially pre the vowel points.
Can you write the meaning in englis of the hebrew words

By this program we (my son and I) learn lots Bible character's name, thank you! By the way, is any people name Beth in Bible?
@@taoqi277 Not in the Hebrew Bible, though the name בִּתְיָה is quite similar...
By golly, I think I'm actually getting this! It's amazing how much 13 lessons can advance.
a lot to learning...it's good that you already incorporate all the prepositions, and male and female.

Amazing vdoo😇😇
Muito bom.
Wonderful method of teaching! Trying to figure out what the "sofit" of the same letter does. 😢😪
A number of letters have two forms, the initial/medial form and the final form. The sofit form is the final form that occurs at the end of a word.
I am so grateful for your lessons! Where did you get your paper dolls( the ones you stuck on the board)?
The figures in the video are from a flannelgraph set we got from some friends. 😊
Maravilloso
Gracias por esas lecciones de hebreo, son muy buenas y fácil de entender.

En shlosháh hay dos puntos, uno el de la o y el otro el de la shin. ¿Se escriben realmente los dos puntos o se funden en uno solo? Gracias.
Esto depende de la tipografía. En משה (Moshe, Moisés) el Tanakh Simanim escribe los dos puntos, pero el Tanakh Snaith escribe solo uno.

Any depiction of David in which he's not a redhead is not biblically accurate (1 Sam. 16:12)
