    How many rappers have you ever heard brag about the amount of books they have instead of how many chains they have? Akala is fucking magic.

    only reason akala isnt more popular is due to the amount of truth he spouts , the mainstream media would be destroying itself by promoting akala

      Or it's because a majority of the people into rap is not looking for some deep lyrics, but rather just good flow and punchlines and to be fair while Akala is good, there's many people just as good, if you ignore lyrical content.

    • @FedbergRoland

      100%. Makes everyone’s position clear. Either help one another or be the problem. Really special. The best quarter hour you’ll spend is listening to this.
      Charlie Sloth nails it as well with the reactions. Hilarious. Blown away the same as we all were but puts it into words we couldn’t.

    When rappers appear on radios they bring their entourage, designer clothes and big chains, Akala rolls up in just a white t-shirt which he probably got on sale. His flow in incredible, added to the fact his lyrics carry so much meaning behind them, such a great musician and inspiration to a lot of people. Hopefully get to see him live near the end of the year

    "we live on Celtic land but we don't learn about the Celts"

    • @moodini99
      @moodini99 9 лет назад +5

      Not actually true, of course. there's tonnes of archeological research done on the celts. A very popular period of culture to study. I know what he means, though. There aren't nearly enough people interested in the countries history. Of course, the celts were invaders of the land just like the Germanics, Normans, Scandinavians etc. They too came from across the sea, and did to the beaker people what the Roamns and Germanics would do to them.

    • @newcasual22
      @newcasual22 9 лет назад +5

      The brythonics (Welsh) we're native to this island recent study's on DNA prove that they are a mixture of Hunter gatherers that got stranded here after the last ice age and migratingmm tribes from the Basque region.

    • @moodini99
      @moodini99 9 лет назад +1

      Brythonic is a linguistic definition, not a genetic one. And it describes linguistic groups from Brittany, Cornwall, Strathclyde (now defunct) and Cumbria (only used in counting sheep these day).
      the celts came from the continent. These lands were inhabited by the beaker people prior to that. And they must have come from somewhere.
      Humanity began in Africa, remember. There are no native Brits.

    • @moodini99
      @moodini99 9 лет назад +14

      I couldn't agree more. It's what the British empire was built on (that and slavery). And yet people still speak of our imperial past with pride.

      +Iamatreee if you find barbarianism something to celebrate yeh top prize you raped murdered extorted went and stole children to sell as slaves erm fucked most countries over for all their resources and set the countries back into a dark age. Then sit there calling them for their lack of progression. Invite people to come help the country out of a depression after a war they massively helped us to win by doing the jobs the natives were toooo good for, subject them to years of torment then call them immigrants. Erm we sent murderers and rapists to one of the loveliest continents in the world Australia quickly started to oppress the aborigines natives even stole their children and did horrible things too them and the ones that survived got released into "white society" and they either killed themselves or ended up in mental institutions due to the fear of their horrific experiences. To top it of in the resource rich east of Australia they kicked a massive population of aboriginal people

    Akala, I don't know if you'll ever see this, but I want you to know how much you have and do mean to the movement. Especially in these times, where we're on the verge of either global awakening or global genocide, your words keep me going. They strengthen me when I'm on the street fighting. And when those who have been sleeping ask me what it will take to wake up, I send them to your music and say "first listen; then read; then fucking LEARN."
    Knowledge IS power. And so many would rather take OUR power than do the work to claim their own. I wonder if they're afraid of it; afraid of their own power, and that makes them afraid of us. Because we don't have to steal it. We got it.
    Please keep spittin truth fam.

      Yeah, I know. But it's futile. The biggest demographic don't want decent, well-researched lyrics like Akala's. They want banal, brainless shit like Folrida, Pitbull, Tinie Tempah and all those talentless cretins who make millions from twelve year-olds spending their parents cash on i-tunes. That's never ever going to change.
