***** exactly this! the day Akala is spitting for a label, would be a very sad day indeed as this is one man I could never see to break his morales and sell his soul just for some money. As he spits in FB1 and FB2 he owns a few company and property he isn't looking to make rap his main income, and more power to him! these are the bars from not just an intelligent but awakened person who really sees the world for what it is. Listening to Akala I feel as if i'm going through his library at 100mph and reading the news mainstream media never wrote. Ridiculous amounts of respect to this guy, this is the person the kids of today should be idolising.

When they stop saying nagga to fill on the gaps I will stop listing. As the man said none of them done a show in african where the presence of these artists are need it the most. Akala does his stuff with out radio play or if you want to call it with out selling out. Please don't compare a man who rapes about Global world wide issue to man who raps about "the ends." Intlegence plays a key part in rap. To answer a question with question. Why is tupac better then biggie? The answer tupac did dear mama, shed so many tears and black jesus. Biggie only a popular arts did song like hypnotize, one more chance and sky is the limit lyrical all very good songs but....where is shed so many tears. All though biggie and tupac are both guilty of using shoke value. (Shoke value artist us sex, violence and or sympathy to make record sells); and here we have Akala who uses none of that just plain fact doesn't follow trends creates them. Every UK raper you can possibly name follows the trend. I.e uses the word nagga talks about money, smoking weed, or and about their bank balance. They same argument for tupac the only one to do it everyone is trying to be like him a trend setter. To me intelligence individuality and not follow trend is being the best put aside skill and the fact that he raped longer then both of them combined. Avalon and 32. Akala compation historically and present day lowkey and any other raper whum I don't know raping against the barrier. Don't believe the hype.

+flo lamert I did a sociology degree years ago and i find that Akala is a social scientist in the realest sense. Who know,s, 30 years from now he could be considered on a par with Durkheim, Weber, Marx and Foucoult and your kids might study him
The beauty of Akala is that many of the topics he discusses are present day problems of terrorism, mass immigration, ill education, materialism, wealth gaps and social mobility. He is one of the few people today who can bring all those issue together into coherent dialogue.

Not too many have made songs like "find no enemy", "why do" or "where Im from"

RyanBurke I never noticed that, but Akala should really do some research lol. The speed of darkness is equal to the speed of lights departure. So the speed of light and the speed of darkness are the same (Never thought I'd be saying something like this on a rap video).

I guess it all comes down to personal opinion. I happen to agree with everything Akala says, so to hear him put those words into rap and make them flow is pleasent (And he does have flow).
All rappers talk down to you in thier raps, even Em, so I dont see your point about how Akala (almost mockingly) bigs himself up and talks down to you.
And I genuinely believe Akala is better than Em, although i guess the only way to decide would be a rap battle between the two artists.
Dont get me wrong, I love eminem and have since i was about 5 years old but he is nowhere near the best rapper.

As far as I see it if your not rapping about these topics your worae then a sheep you actually know whats going on but choose to move the mass"s elsewhere... I love akala, lowkey, english frank, logic nd mic righteous because conscientiously their unable to NOT be real... il never listen to the poison I was fed before these rappers here are true leaders....true people much respect nd love to them
