Samsung has introduced a special version of the Galaxy Tab A9 for children.
The new product is called the Galaxy Tab A9 Kids Edition. This means it's a version of the tablet specifically designed for kids. Primarily, the gadget comes with a shockproof Kids Puffy case, Crayon stylus, stickers, and a 15-watt charging block. The device features LTE, 4GB of RAM, and a 64GB storage capacity. Various useful Samsung Kids apps are pre-installed on the new edition, along with parental controls.
As for other specifications of the Galaxy Tab A9 Kids Edition, they are the same as the regular model: an 8.7-inch LCD display, MediaTek Helio G99 chip, microSD slot, two AKG speakers, an 8MP main camera, a 2MP front camera, and a 5100mAh battery.
The Galaxy Tab A9 Kids Edition has already started selling in Malaysia for $168. Whether the new product will be available in other regions is currently unknown.
