Dj 1/2 oz Bowflex you can tell when watching this video that jeff is hesitant and cares about how the crowd is perceiving his performance but if you watch him current day and the last few years you can see that he has unwavering confidence.. it is truly admirable how little he cares what people think of him now.
"You can come in, but don't touch anything." That was so simple and so funny. I will always remember it, like Rodney Dangerfield's line "If it weren't for the pickpockets, I wouldn't have a sex life."
Reading the comments for this is kinda depressing. Do people not realize jokes are to comics what songs or “licks” are to musicians? People just don’t remember musical phrases and stuff like they do verbal jokes. This is quatlity material, if you’ve heard him do the jokes before. Just watch other material. Even ppl like Eminem has “freestyles” that somehow ended up being entire songs later, despite all the praise his freestyles get
Not bad, just not Jeffrey Ross good, however he looks very young here so it must've been early on. Aside from that notice how incredibly clean he is as a comic. Jeffrey Ross is brilliant as a comic and one of the best in the game today along with, God rest his soul Greg Geraldo, Russell Peters, and Nick DiPaulo who I just finally realized is fucking hilarious!
+aerlial360 This was from a long time ago. I used to see a lot of comics when I lived in NYC. Jeff was on regular rotation at all the common NYC venues. He was always consistently good. It was at the time a fairly light-hearted act. He didn't turn on the burn and become the Roastmaster General until years later.
Loved how he used the Bon Jovi joke 15 years later and it was still just as hot
I just seen that mf video
Yet I still don't find it funny
@@sumanchhetri1809 And yet, nobody cares
I dont get it
he used the hebrew name, and ol cash machine at the hugh hefner roast.
This vid is proof that true confidence can be learned and obtained

The dude is talented
Yeah, like Tom Hanks
He looks like a teenager going to his first interview
Nice to know where Larry the cable guy got that "how did she die" bit
I caught that too but lots of comics use/steal that bit.
104 year old aunt is one of my favorite stand up jokes ever ahhaaha.
The more I listen to that "Sadie, get off the couch" poem the more I find it funnier.

Jeff Ross is the man!
What a set
Some day, I want to go to California and randomly bump into David Duchovny and tell him, "dude, you look like Jeffrey Ross in 1998".
Good Eye 😄
@@mostafasherif9209 I take that back. I would tell Jeffrey Ross, "Dude, what happened, you used to look like David Duchovny.....?"
@@jaymakak but be prepared for a burn 😆👍🏼
That VHS static line on top
is that Doug Benson laughing at 1:18? :)
does sound like him....lol
Very possible they are good homies lol he was the very first guest on dougs podcast
Ross needs more weed, Benson is older though it doesn't look like that.
?
Ross is 51 and Benson is 52 but Benson looks much younger and he's high all the time.
He's come a long way.
I wonder if Stew is still living with his parents in 2016? lol
+TheHiddenAnswer he has kids now that live with his parents parents

The roast master genital....lolol
She gave birth to a 75 year old baby boy .. uncle murry 😂😂😂
This guy has been recycling this act for decades.
Have people stopped paying to see him?
DesertScorpionKSA the more I watch the less funny it gets 😔
It gets better everytime
And yet here we are all enjoying it
@@Slavenmierech Speak for yourself
Just dont touch anything😂
Brilliant!
The thumbnail looks like Mike Birbiglia's dead body was left out in the sun for three days
Funny, funny !!!!!
This is what a comic looks like before he becomes a raging alcoholic. ! LOL
so good
A Young Jeff Ross
That man is a genious
i didnt even know jeff ross did stand up. i thought he just did crowd related roasty type sets.
How do you think he got into roasts? Lol It's not a thing by itself
What does he say at 0:19 and what does it mean in relation to what he said?
InTheCircle Really ?
Thank god he messed up the proposal. No one wants to end up with a “Karen.”
He doesn’t look bad when he actually had a neck
IKR!!
Funny story - when Jeff said "let's dim the lights," my tablet's battery went to 5% and I couldn't tell if I missed the joke or not

I do agree with you.
This is better than what louis ck did in montreal. If i am wrong tell me why
He looks like Mike birbiglia here
Sorta looks like Anthony Jizzleneck
Wait a minute, he's already balding here and in 2014 he had full hair??
Either he's wearing a toupee or he used that hair regrow foam stuff.

Date is in the title, genius. Yes, 19 years ago.
High school humour
Ooph!
He is so much funnier now!
My name is Karen
Jason Genova?
🤣🤣🤣🤣
huh. skinny Jeffery Ross. Kinda looks like Mike Birbiglia's schlubby brother. Who knew.
Hes such a hack lol but i still like him. He has a certain charisma
he did that same Bon Jovi joke 13 years later at the same place
Jeff looks strangely healthy here compared to his beached seal look later.
How is it strange? He's like 20 years younger here
I use that Becky I Said poem in cam rooms. lol
Aunt tique
Considering how good his roast jokes are, this was actually rather disappointing.
PG-13 so hard
Anthony Jeselnik, anybody??
Ben Dover but (not questionably) better
Ben Dover no thank you
Wow Scott Bakula's let himself go.
Wait he Alex LIFESON'S bro?
Oh my God so many repeated jokes .many of his roasts are from this bit.
What's up with the jfl throwing stuff from the 19s at us? Where's dim new shit
I thought he would be fatter
Mike Birbiglia never was a looker was he
OMG.this guy recycles like anything .
This is positively awful
Sorry, I never thought he was funny…
that was pathetic
