+omnisquirrel It feels like the whole body resonates along with the sound, not just the top (if even that) on my cheapo zouks. The fixed bridge instead of floating one may have something to do with it. Also it's the little details like everything that's supposed to be straight is straight, everything that's supposed to be centered really is dead centered, and I guess there are no shortcuts taken with the internal structure either.
@@Panda_Sparrow I learn about 95% by ear. Sometimes need to check from thesession.org how some particular notes go if I can't pick them out from a recording. I find if I play from sheet music or tabs, I end up just playing the notes when I should be playing the tune...
