Today's fact: Bottled water expiration dates are for the bottle, not the water.
oh
ok
Yeah but how long does the cap last for?
Thanks for that bit of information. Like me, I'm sure people think it's for the water.😊
Fun fact, if a bottle expires you don’t want to consume anything in it ever.
it is because if water sits in plastic for long enough the plastic starts contaminating the water

Did you know that many of the worlds greatest inventors never finished high school.
Right?!?!! Thank u
@@MsBlackRussia1682 I'm not making it up.
High school destroys creativity and single mindedness
@@darkestrose9989 I quite agree. In a way.
To be honest to all of those particular scientists who never finish school and went on to do great things did so because they were gifted with a great intelligence before hand for most of us to attain the same knowledge we have to study it’s no different than any other field of human science some people are born to be great athletes others have to practice and some people are great actors and actresses others have to study to those who have those gifts that’s awesome for them but don’t think just because they could do that 99% of us could do the same it’s just not in our genetics. That said you should never let your limitations stop you from achieving great Heights

The aero jell impressed me the most, I couldn’t get my head around playing catch with something lighter than air.
Aerogel was actually used to collect dust from a comet’s tail
So um water proof bad how you ask how you gonna wash it
if it was lighter then air it would float up

Me: Playing with my magnetic silly puty while watching this.
When we were in college, we had a girl make us a mold for a knife, fork and spoon. We poured gallium in there to make a set a silverware and slipped it on the professors lunch tray. The look on his face when he picked it up and all of a sudden his silverware melted in his hand. It only took him a few seconds to figure out what was going on. But those few seconds, they were priceless.
Hope he didn't eat it.
i hope it didn't get in his foodd...

Oh, I've got some half-melted gallium beside my computer right now! Neat stuff. I remember playing with a toy maze that had mercury in it -- liquid at even a cool room temperature. I've got magnetic putty, too. I've heard about most of the other stuff, but still, great video.
i have gallium
i love science its so cool you never know what you can do and there is always another road to go down and it never stops

How could you say it can cure cancer and not elaborate on that???
just sage I was wondering the same thing!
Because the pharmaceutical companies are hideously greedy and are going to want to charge $30,000 a procedure (or more) with this ingredient like they do IV chemo bags. If they even gave a hint, the pharmaceutical company would sue the shite out of Be Amazed.
Ironically fasting and avoiding carbohydrates and sugar works wonders on cancer. My golf ball sized brain tumor and 68 lymph nodes tumors vanished applying that simple solution. 32 years later and zero return on cancer. I’m actually thankful I was to poor for chemo now. Lol
@@growbydoing7290 , i completely support ur method and agree that it can work for certain cancers. Big pharmaceuticals want money, so pay doctors to push drugs for everything...and many can be 'healed' with clean eating and exercise. Congratulations and best of health continued😊👍
just sage Thanks, yeah I really didn’t have a choice back then. It’s insane to ponder the simply removing sugars/carbs then fasting would devour cancer so effectively. There’s now tens of thousands speaking out about it online. To be honest never occurred to me to talk about as I assumed it was a known treatment protocol.

The thumbnail is satisfying
Wish they had the graphine aerogel to clean up the Exxon Mobile oil spill back in the day. It took a long time to get that mess cleaned up.
They did.
3do is amazing and saves lots of lives at war. I got gloves and knee pads and although extremely expensive they are worth it.
So basically corn starch and water.
Grant Thompson from the king random spent $400 on gallium used it to make liquid metal fidget spinners with collins key
It's all good and well as long as you can afford it.greedy corp.prevent everyone from access to these products.

Yeah. Cos greedy corps really hate selling popular products for profit.

PSA: DONT MIX GALLIUM AND ALUMINUM!!
Why what would happen

Gallium reminds me of the second Terminator movie!!
Yeah gallium is very cool.. we should figure out how to make it glow and make it into ropes to lasso the moon with.
yea because that would be useful, logical, practical, and productive right

Hey are you from Pakistan coz I saw "delivery to Pakistan" when u showed gallium in Amazon????

we had to do a science project. and we had to event something that would help us live on mars so my idea was space suits with D3O to protect you from the wear and tear of space to cushion your falls and to protect your suit and with layers of Aerogel in it to protect you from the extreme heat. thanks for this video because of you I might have just got an A or A+ in science love your videos keep at it. That magnet putty looks like something Jimmy Neutron would make. Of course Karl and Sheen would screw it up and it would start to eat the town then Jimmy would have to create a giant metal decoy bunny to attract the blob and trap it in a huge room of Co2 to freeze it, grind it, then send the particles to Outer Moononia. i like didn't understand or i knew already, but graphene aerogel BLEW my mind!
4:10 is the string form if graphene. Graphene is more of a conductor than copper, and stronger than diamandis. It is very flexible too. It can stop a bullet, but it Is a nanometer/ten atoms thick
Graphene is a strong solid. Its made by putting graphite on tape and then taping the taped graphite layer and then repeat.
And repeat more

“Science is *pretty* amazing”
Me: NO
*SCIENCE IS VERY AMAZING*
8:22 bruh it’s using video feed from vat 19 and he’s talking about one of their products
Space elevator? 😄. You do know that the earth spins, and speed is relevant to altitude and distance from the earths axis? Your space elevator would be ripped apart.
Most designs actually rely on that.
Also most designs boil down to a massive cable that a elevator moves on.
An anchor on one end and a counter weight around geo-stationary orbit.
Ultra Hydrophobic spray would be perfect to spray on my trailer roof.
Hey you used the video of vat19 on magnetic thinking putty right..

If someone came up with an aerogel-like substance that could block sound. Super sound-proofing.
D30 and oobleck same thing
Almost oobleck is more runny
The one thing me and gallium have in common: we both hate Apple.
I dont get it. Oh nvm
I know im just nitpicking but the proper term is synthetic spider silk, not artificial.
Synthetic means artificial.

2:18 gallium only affects aluminum that way not everything
Gallium is the key component to liquid metal a thermal interface material that can be used to help transfer heat away form hot PC components like a CPU but it only really works with copper or nickel plated copper & has a really corrosive reaction to aluminum
The last one looks like the rock thing in avatar
Wow that was real 😮😮😮
"belong in a sci-fi movie, from a solid that melts in your hand.." I immediately thought of ice. regular ice made from frozen water does this. how is this an unusual or amazing property at all
It’s metal, most don’t go from solids to liquid at such low temperatures.
Your so cool I really want you to do another gaming video
How to make the most nature(y) strong and cool armor
*artificial spider webs except it is thick*
they actually can use gallium on processors to cool them more effectively than regular thermal compounds
i had magnetic putty before, and i dont recommend putting stuff inside, its a pain to get all the tiny bits of putty off of it

Non-Newtonian fluids can be made at home easily. They all react the same way light touches they dent a hard smack and they become a strong and very hard surface. Try watching the hydraulic press Channel the guy that is in Finland he does lots of stuff like this.
I just want the magnetic puddy so I can do time lapse of it swallowing magnets.🤓
It’s pretty cheap you need the powerful magnets though. Those are a little pricey but you can get them.
