I don't know about y'all but I've been doing crazy stuff this for years! One time i painted some weird symbols on a ton of rocks then buried them or threw them into the lake, hoping someone would find them and think it was an ancient civilization or something. One of them WAS found by my friend (who's a diver) and he was super stoked, but of course i told him the truth. Lol
When i was 6, went digging in my backyard for about 2 hours and when I was about to be done, I saw something sticking out of the ground. I dug and I found a baby megalodon tooth!
I remember that the E.T. cartridge dumped in a landfill was supposed to be an urban legend for years. Then they found it, with a bunch more cartridges other than E.T.
The funny thing is people actually took games out of the dump, and they still played just fine. Most new games of the shelf these days need a patch of update as soon as you try to play them.
You know what, that's so true! It used to be you could play games forever. But now, they build in failures and obsolescence so we have to spend more money!!
@@GhostoftheAI Until the service that allows those games to be updated are no longer available. Then what? What happens when people want to revisit the games of yesteryear, but many of those games don't function properly because of lacking patches that were taken down over a decade ago?
its in northern germany. deeper than 6 meters (18 feet) so the water will have a temperature of 10 C° (50 F°) all year around. N. Fowleri needs temperatures between 22 and 35 C° (72 - 95F°) to thrive. UNDER that it would be spores you would find. also, you need to get this little critters DEEP, and i mean DEEP, into your nose to get the "brain eating" disease. Thats why this disease is VERY UNCOMMON. so, dont deep dive into such a puddle of water and you are golden. to the "black mold" if your immune system isnt a total wreck or you have a genetic failure build in, a short visit wouldnt be a problem. i wouldnt set up my tent in it but thats it.
When I was a kid, the house we lived in backed up to a forest. I loved playing out there, and I 'discovered' what I thought was an ancient road, or maybe a dry river bed, since after a hard rain, it would fill with water and create a waterfall down the side of the hill which ended in making my back yard muddy. I imagined all the ancient people who had walked the road, or ridden on the river in their canoes. It was quite a mystery to me, at the age of 7. I know now, it was just an abandoned railroad bed, left over when they re-routed a turnpike near my house. I have to admit, I was ever so slightly disappointed it wasn't ancient. LOL
My friend and I once found an old fashioned washing mangle (look it up!) It was buried in her garden & we'd been digging for treasure. Not treasure as such but still an interesting find 😁
Man, I do not want to be the technicians who screwed up and cost the Soviet military one of their super choppers by filling its tanks with plain ol' gasoline and water.
Why, the dissovled and fogot the darn thing lol. Plus the rest were buried b/c of radiation contamination during the Chernobyl meltdown. I thought that's what this was gonna be, only in the wrong spot lol
I love that desert breath spiral 🌀😍 Seen images of the chicken church but don't recall knowing the background. My favourite weird middle of nowhere find was years ago in the woods that surrounded my old cottage. Out on a walk with the cats, i found an entire top plate of false teeth right at the edge of the badger set where they'd dug them up 😮😂😂 They were pretty old. I'd gone that way most days and never seen anything remotely like that before 😂😂😂 I think someone was out lamping at night and lost them in the dark 😂😂😂😂
The funniest thing is those destroyed cartridge are being sold for millions now. Not even for the game but for the point of saying you own one of the landfill ET cartridges. Arin Hanson of Game Grumps has one and he said he spent about 75,000 on it. But that was him saying that so there was no actual proof of the price
Hello everyone. I am Greek 🇬🇷 and I would like to inform you that there is a special place in Greece too, called the "Meteora". This area lies in central Greece and it comprises a number of high rocks, on which monasteries have been built. 🙂
I love the little "Be Amazed" logo figure where he makes all the different faces on the video & has little tiny arms and legs. So adorable. Lmao. Can you make merch with the face he has at 14:12? I would totally buy that
They already did. They had a plushy Bartholemew Eggbert Amazed on their site but I think they sold them all. It was just a standard one, though. They haven't done one in a life ring yet. That would be cool. If you ask Bart nicely, he might release some. They could do a set of different ones, in different positions and poses from the channel.
The E.T. landfill had been a legend for decades. AVGN based his movie on searching for that exact discovery. In the movie they never found the landfill. It's so funny to finally see it found.
So I used to live in Alamogordo. there was always the rumour about the town about it. Never actually believed it till they actually found it! glad Alamo was on the news about something epic instead of a book burning
Re: the first entry, with the two kids exploring woods they played in as kids - just a friendly warning, that's how Fatal Frame 2 began. Didn't end super-happily.
I found a bicycle inside a tree in Yellowstone National Park. It was right next to the trail but around 8 or 10 miles from the trailhead. The bike had been there for a while, as the tree had grown around the bike.
its from a tv show, in the middle of no where n courage wasnt the 1 to own it dufus, eustace bagge and muriel bagge owned it...courage was founded by muriel when he was a pup and brought in by her and even though eustase is mean to him but eustase does in his own way care about courage, though muriel treats courage more like her own son if she were to have 1 and hurts eustase with a rolling pen when ever he is mean to courage
I’ve found a car muffler and a directtv satellite dish in the middle of the woods. After the woods got cut down I found a shattered windshield and a steering wheel sticking out of the ground…on the opposite side of the property as the muffler, several acres away.
I heard countless stories(on reddit) about S.A.Rfinding stairs in the forest like imagine a house with stars inside cut them out and place them in the forest, but i would like to know if this is true or not
Me and my buddy were walking through a forest and just came across a playground slide in pretty good condition to. And we also come across these random bamboo x`s in the trees like some sort of tree house that fell apart, some trees even have ladders.
Back in the 1970s on a hot blue-domed cloudless day in the UK countryside on my own and about two miles from my village, I stumbled upon a six foot long _'white cloud'_ about six foot off the ground. I picked up a stone and was about to throw it at it when as a twelve year old, I suddenly wondered the enormity that might come upon my young mind if the stone didn't come out of the other side! Thus I dropped the stone and hurried home. Thing is, it was over some _'stable straw'_ dumped in a pile, so _assume_ it was a build-up of some type of gas released from the straw being baked under a summer-day sun, but why it built up and didn't drift away is beyond me.
It's criminal that you didn't play Ice Age the meltdown footage when you talk about the Glyptodon, a character was exactly that AND the first one to get eaten 😤😅😂
The video game clip is a little misleading the people who found them were also looking for the ET games. They did a ton of research which is why they were digging in that area.

And AVGN included it in his movie.
I always thought underneath of the ET cartridges was pounds upon pounds of depleted uranium buried in concrete
Kind of naive of the artists to think that nobody would ever break into an unguarded building to steal expensive Prada products.
