    I have had a 335i now for 15 years upgrades over the last 7 years are Td0 4 turbos at 18 psi FBO LTD diff full seal kit in auto runninnig MHD and XHP stage 3 upgraded full pump and modified fuel pump driver with cooling fan dyno's at 550 reliable HP , and have never used E85 the main killer of reliability in these engines. at 1350KGs and a very stock looking E90 those Mustang and Dodge boys sure get one hell of a shock when this little old man is looking at them in his reaveiw, what a buzz, the most realiable and fun car I have owned, and I have owned a lot of muscle cars in my 50 years of driving.

      Underneath is a bit tight when working on the car, like the water pump, oil pan gasket, downpipes, etc.

    This guy describes BC Racing coilovers as "super high end"
    Bro, they are just expensive chineesium crap. They are ricer coilovers, they aren't even entry level performance coilovers.

    • @AutomotiveTherapy
      @AutomotiveTherapy  Месяц назад +1

      If i’m being brutally honest at the time when I had the 335 the previous owner installed those coils before my ownership, and before that I had only used lowering springs on all my cars so I wasn’t “as” informed on the difference coil over setups at that time. To me they seemed really nice and the car drove great. We all learn new things at some point!

      @@AutomotiveTherapy better than like ricelands or maxpeedingrods as far as parts quality/durability and ride comfort for sure.
      The problem is they are private label manufactured in Taiwan by the same place that makes emusa, d2, k sport, and many others.
      They use a generic damper cartridge, not really ideal for any platform. The spring rates usually aren't ideal either, which is why a lot of them offer Japanese springs as an upgrade.
      They are fine for max low, but for track use a simple eibach/koni yellow or ground control/koni yellow combo is going to be better on any car that doesn't come with high end sport suspension, or electronic adjustable stuff from the factory.
      That said, anything is probably better than blown stock struts

    • @AutomotiveTherapy
      @AutomotiveTherapy  Месяц назад

      Good to know! Appreciate the info. I know a lot of aftermarket parts are just Chinese crap with company logos slapped on them, it’s definitely important to look for high quality, in-house made products for peak performance and reliability.
