$6k for parts, another $2-3k in labor and tuning. Not really looking to put almost $10k into a car when I enjoy how it drives without the supercharger

Often referred to as e9x x can be 0..2..3.. all the guts are the pretty much the same granted 6 cyl natural . ..or turbo... maybe an 8 cyl but same difference... .. for the model years only defence... Is what is in the out side... Body as a 2 door convertible, 2 door hard top, 4 doors or a hatchback. For example if there was a 325i e9x. No matter what that x equals.. it's still the same car... Just different on the outside .. so if it's a m3 e9x it's an M so it's 2 door for those years... And not a 4 door or a hatchback etc.etc... obviously therefore... Logic and BMW nomenclature tells ya... What it is.. M just adds more engine and more hardy brakes/suspension to the same car... That they used for that 325i they put a 6 cylinder in... It was a very wise ...and cost effective way, to not only market the car..., also for manufacturing... why build 5 cars...whem you can basically just built ..1. Creating...well....an engineering masterpiece.... Those Germans, ya gotta luv em! Companies around the world started copying this way of designing cars...once they saw how well it was working.

If i’m being brutally honest at the time when I had the 335 the previous owner installed those coils before my ownership, and before that I had only used lowering springs on all my cars so I wasn’t “as” informed on the difference coil over setups at that time. To me they seemed really nice and the car drove great. We all learn new things at some point!

@@AutomotiveTherapy better than like ricelands or maxpeedingrods as far as parts quality/durability and ride comfort for sure. The problem is they are private label manufactured in Taiwan by the same place that makes emusa, d2, k sport, and many others. They use a generic damper cartridge, not really ideal for any platform. The spring rates usually aren't ideal either, which is why a lot of them offer Japanese springs as an upgrade. They are fine for max low, but for track use a simple eibach/koni yellow or ground control/koni yellow combo is going to be better on any car that doesn't come with high end sport suspension, or electronic adjustable stuff from the factory. That said, anything is probably better than blown stock struts

Good to know! Appreciate the info. I know a lot of aftermarket parts are just Chinese crap with company logos slapped on them, it’s definitely important to look for high quality, in-house made products for peak performance and reliability.

Yes as soon as you flash MHD with the catless downpipes it will remove the CEL

Sport plus mode opens up the valves. I had my M2 button set to the sportiest settings so the valves were open and set up with one easy click
