First of all, I have to say, Phia [Helaena] did a great job. Her emotions, the way her character "works" was outstanding.
Would I have liked them to have kept a few things from the book? Yes! But only because of Helaena, that she doesn't offer her necklace but her life, etc. But the way it went down fits her character in the show. She had to give up one or she would have lost both.
But I have to say, those muffled screams and the noises of them sawing...this will haunt me for a long time..I really couldn't breathe, because I was also in shock. I am very empathetic and could relate to Helaena's panic attack and yes folks, a panic attack can look exactly like you saw.
In any case, I'm looking forward to the next episodes and to Aegon's revenge! My king!
Ah yes. Luke's murder is justified cause Rhaenyra had sex with another man. That's just disgusting mysogny. How does that justify brutally murdering an innocent child?

@@ScreenChronicles luke is fighting age and had a dragon hope that helps. the young dragon conquered a whole kingdom at his age without a dragon.
rhae sent luke to the safest option. storms end was close by and house baratheon shares blood with their house. rhae had absolutely no reason to believe anything would happen to luke. plus he went as a messenger, it’s well known that you can’t just hurt messengers.
FYI… in “The World of Westeros” envoys/ messengers get killed and beaten all the time… It’s not unusual.

@@penguin50279 That was Rhaenyra’s first mistake.. sending her teenage heir as an envoy, when she’s on the verge of war. She knew (should have known) the probability of him crossing paths with the enemy is high…
The problem is that Luce doesn't actually share any blood with house Baratheon. Rhaenys does though. She is older, more experienced and her dragon is bigger. She should have send Rhaenys to Borros and have Luce learn from Corlys. In case something happens to him during the war Luce needs to take over the Velaryon fleet. He shouldn't fly around as an envoy, he needed to learn from his grandfather as much as possible.

well rhaenyra is a hypocrite and a boring character only good characters on team black are daemon, baela and jace .
Team Green, I still find this episode good for the most part but their are issues i have with it mostly for the last 5 minutes.. Everything with the blacks was very predictable while everything with the greens was intriguing. Daemon orchestrated this event n this will significantly weaken rhaenyra claim to the throne and killing a toddler means now their r no lines left to across. Looking forward to ur guys future videos.
Obviously the black side will be predictable after what happened in last season's ending, especially if you call the episode "a son for a son". Blowing your mind with surprise was never the goal here.

And Aemond is still a more compelling and superior character for all the right reasons, a better brother with an actual sense of loyality, a barely grown up man ready to stand up against that nasty 50 year old niece f*cker, wife- and child murderer that constantly throws temper tantrums.
