This is the most brilliantly soul moving song I've heard in a long time. Makes me cry sweet tears. I always know that a song connects to my deep soul if it makes me cry those tears. It's rare. And this is coming from a male in his 60's, so I've heard a lot of music in my day.

@@paulzottola5534 it’s not open D, it’s D standard tuning. Very similar to how dropped D tuning is when you are in standard tuning. So you drop all the strings a whole step, that’s D standard, then drop your low d another whole to C ..it sounds right to me, you can play the song in D standard…but in this video she has that low D dropped to C…give it a shot.

ok i just realized she only uses drop c in a few live performances, so just use d standard and it should be good
