@telecomandorc Hell yes. I'll probably get the green one too. When I pick up my preorder, if they have one, I'll get it. If they don't, I'll pick up the mini Revo that I've been wanting.
@@Diaszurana Hopefully they have a deal. Given it is released the 29th of November (BlackFriday) in shops only, There must be some sales on other stuff.
$80 for shocks. Are they out of their minds ? And why make the motor look like a brushed motor (i know it's brushless) with the holes in the can ? Dirt will get in there and it makes it look cheap.
I like the comment. Good observation. It is for the cooling fan that is built in. Luckily the MT body covers more of the area compared to SCT. But very good point. Given your observation, dirt might not be as big of a deal as getting a little stone in there that could break the blades. Good point. I have not had an issue with the Slash 4x4 yet. But it is something I will now keep an eye out.
I hope it’s got a low center of gravity and I hope they don’t come out with a wide arm conversion or a heavy duty conversion later. Early adopters get ripped off on Traxxas and then they include it in the RTR later
Just like they did with the larger model. It is possible. I will see what plastics they use on this mini. The diff and shafts look promising. But I am not sure a wide kit would interest me as it really distorts the look of the vehicle.
I cannot think of a single reason to buy this over a Omni Terminator unless you just want a little Traxxas. The Maxx and Xmaxx are the worst performing trucks in their class and cost more. I have put batteries in my Xmaxx once since the Redcat Vigilante was released. I sold my Maxx after buying my first Arrma a few years back. The reputation for durability is the main reason they are so popular. If not for brand recognition Traxxas would have to actually try to develop great trucks again and make them competitive financially.
Financially is a good point. Arrma has better sales. The Omni Terminator can be found for under $200. We will see when it comes out how it does. I am actually looking forward to this model. You gave me an idea for a video. 😁
That thing is fire in orange. I can't wait to get my grubby hands on my pre-order
That's exactly what I ordered.

80 bucks for shocks? Jesus Christ.
When I get it I will see what the size of the shocks is. It might be a larger diameter similar to the Slash.

Too expensive and too small.
