They had something similar to this in the early 2000's called Go Snacks. During the summer when we were out on the boat all day, our parents would let my sisters and I pick out two containers each. They're good for something like that. Easier to pack in a cooler or lunch bag than a bigger bag.
Didn't they used to sell these as 100 calorie packs? But I like that they're selling these again (with less packaging!).. I feel like doritos and sun chips are too big in my opinion. These are better for little kids (not toddlers, more like preschool kids) and people with smaller mouths. I'd get the cheddar sunchips out of all of these, but I wish they had the original! Also what's weird, I haven't noticed Sunchips in the store for so long that I thought they were discontinued... I literally had to look it up a while back and gladly I was wrong!

Plus these are 58¢/oz while the regular Doritos are 39¢/oz for the larger 14.5oz bag and 49¢/oz for the regular 9.25oz bag if you care about the price. My local supermarket usually has a buy 2, get 2 free deal on Doritos so these minis don't really appeal to me unless I was going to sneak them into a movie theater.
Frito-Lay makes Munchies Snack Mix & Flamin' Hot Snack Mix which each has Mini Sunchips and Mini Doritos, along with Mini Pretzels so I guess they just decided to sell the others individually too. The Cool Ranch Doritos is the only new one I think.

I think they are great travel in the car or a bus food item. My mum and I do that. We go to a grocery store and fill up a cooler with fresh produce, cheese, snacks and protein sources (meat or vegan meatless items) and go on a road trip with chips like these in canisters like these because they can be put into the cup holders inside the car.
I am addicted to Cheetos, so I would try them. I don't get why the other ones look the same, but they made the Cheetos balls. Like Kevin, I eat the small bags every day 🙂🙂🙂

I like quantity when it comes to my food so to put these in a Ziploc bag so to have 60 Cheeto bites for 100 and something calories sounds great

We had that supply issue too. They’re back on shelves regularly now, but it was for a few months earlier this year.
These are super fun for roadtrips! Just stick them in your cupholder and you're good to go!
