One of the best shooters and music
My older brother and I used to play this game for hours....Sega cd had jams
Track 10 is awesome. It's just so metal and raw. "Don't call me brother, call me rival!"
Track 12 is AWESOME. I thought it was awesome the instant I heard it and it's still one of my favorite video game songs of all time. It was only much later in my life that I learned it's actually a techno remix of Bach's Concerto for Two Violins in D minor, which made me like it even more, because it's a really damn good rendition of the song.
I had the same experience! About 20 years ago or so I played this game(I actually didn't care for the game), and would just listen to this song on loop without knowing that it was a Bach piece. I've been searching for a year or so, trying to recall the game title along with the composer. Your mention of it in your comment actually showed up in a google search, and was the final "breadcrumb" in locating this track--so many thanks!
Ha, no problem! Glad I was of help! :D
Fantastic soundtrack and one of the very best, yet surprisingly overlooked 16-bit shmups. It feels different, has a unique atmosphere and excellent gameplay. I rank it above Musha, Spriggan and Super Aleste (to compare with the other Compile shmups of that era).
One of the best of all time
My favourite soundtrack of any game, respect to Katsumi Tanaka and Satoshi Shimazaki.
Listening to this the other day. Pity they have never made another one.....sweet game but rock hard in NTSC.
nobunaga and his nija force great mega drive cd game
I love track 8. I use to listen to this track reading all of my favorite books.
The sweet whistle in the background. This one was among my favorite ones including track 9.
Fuckin hell i need a SEGA CD.
I like how you have both music only and music and voice-over versions. That's a nice touch. Thanks for sharing!
Track 11 = Epic.
Yes, yes, and more yes.
WTF!!! xD
By far the best song on the game and that's saying a lot because I like them all!
It's a techno remix of Bach's Double Concerto in D Minor, in case anyone was wondering.
Love it!
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING and AWESOMELY AMAZING Soundtrack with a vengeance
came back 5 years later to appreciate that sweet box art
Thanks for posting those wolfchild soundtrack songs man, some of those videos are on my music playlist

Track 9, OMG!
That's exactly what I say!

Track 2 is straight 🔥
i love the track 9 ,one better song in the mega cd
Great sounds :).
possibly the hardest game i've ever played
i guess raiden games were harder for me but i despise shooters with slow controls
I found this game too easy :( spammed the level 3 blue laser and never died

Music made me wanna go clubbing!
Based as fuck. Feels like a mix of Funk/Soul by Black Composers from The 70s,a bit of Megadeth, and maybe European Scene Heavy Music like Impaled Nazarene and 80s/90s Martial Industrial Acts. Really heavy stuff that I don't foresee a Western Composer actually tying all together quite the same. Little Techno too!
First track always reminds me of James Bond
