+AJ Connolly 425 would porbably be the loudest Steam Locomotive Operation right now. Although the 765 has a great loud stack talk aswell as the 1522 (Which at one time i heard held the record for loudest steam locomotive), But sadly the 1522 doesnt run anymore.
That whistle sounds a lot like the ( almost identical, it sounds as if I didn't know better like the same one) the whistle sounds like the one of W.T. CARTER/Moscow, Camden, & San Augustine 2-8-2 #14 she wore in the 1960s, including in the "Steam Shortlines in the South Video". That haunting whistle sounds just like 14.
One of the best videos I've ever watched! Well done!
+trainern8 Thank you!
Has anyone ever measured the Decibels of 425's stack talk? It deafens the bell AND whistle.

That D&LW bell sounds so nice, I much prefer it over the old pneumatic bell.
I prefer her D&LW bell
