Congrats Coach for passing the 50K mark :-) Love those videos in sunny weather. Personally I tap the club a couple of times on the turf toe up to get it firmly down in the fingers

Some say it's basic. But it's such an important pre-requisite of great golf swing. The Grip is a big deal, as explained in Hogan's Five Lesson. It makes or breaks your golf swing before you know it. Even for the tour pros.
Always thought my grip was pretty neutral but now I’m thinking it’s a bit on the weak side due to the high floaty fades losing distance etc! Gonna give this a go mate! 👍🏻
being an Aussie, pretty sure Cam Smith lines his club up first and then grips it. On the other side though, watch Adam Scott, he's already gripped at as you say while standing behind the ball. Great vid and i'll try to be better :)
😅Wore holes in my gloves for years, wasn’t until this year I twigged it! Now I am really careful to set the club in the right place in my left hand and my gloves haven’t worn out!
I feel i have a slightly strong grip o feel. With some offset clubs. Which gives me the lefts. And when i try the weaken my grip it just dont feel comfortable.

My first golf coach always set up in the way you say one should not - other than a small pull, he managed.
Obviously it’s possible to put your hands on the club correctly however you want to do it, this is the common pattern I see.

Yes - my golf glove is worn above the thumb line which means I'm gripping the club incorrectly! I guess.

Deliver that handle more forward at impact if you can 👍 will calm it all down.

By putting my hands on them and whacking it 😂 I like the sponginess 👌
