Double check that 45 business day to get your final check. When I left. I got my last check they following week. but they took 45 days to get me my escrow. Unless that’s what you were talking about.
Yeah when the rates was up with jb hunt you could had bring home 2 to 3k a week with that sfi 1250 note a week. But now that the rates are low with that 65% pay out that jb hunt give you. You are lucky to break even now.. the bad thing that i hate about jb hunt is they have to many ppl running their loads working one load board. If you don't luck up and book 3 loads for the following week. You will struggle getting loads the week of. ...because the load board will be blink. In house loads plus companies that have company drivers are the worst for lease drivers. Now for SFI the suck part about them is when you not doing well at a company you choose you have to struggle until you come up with another deposit of 500 to $10,000 to transfer to another company depending on the size of that next company. I said when you lease thru them go to a company that only have owner Operators that paying at least 75% plus. That have multiple loads boards and you are able to talk to the brokers yourself. In trucking you just never know. You have to go find out yourself because not everyone in the business make the same. So what not great to you maybe great for the other. Good luck
Well said! That’s why I always stayed booked a week out. If you don’t, you will end up with sloppy seconds. Any good owner should know to stay planned in advance. I’m not a fan of that transfer fee myself. I honestly think it’s ridiculous
So if you don't mind me asking, what was that final SFI bill?? I will definitely be turning mine in eventually, truck i had the motor went out on it so i jumped in a sfi to keep it moving, but ill be buying another truck just seeing how sfi handles the turn in process and what that final bill look like...And as far as that final check go not getting it for 45 days was, you better take a week off get your final check then ✌🏽out on'em lol
Man ppl really be trying that lease program, financial literacy is vital.. most people try that because they don't understand finances or business but another one bites the dust
Keep your comments respectful. It’s cool to disagree and that’s welcome but understand the situation before you present your statement. I chose to release the truck because I’m venturing into flatbed and that truck wasn’t set up for that. If you feel that myself or anyone lacks financial literacy, try offering that knowledge instead of judgment. Be blessed driver and Happy New Year
@TruckerRo it’s cool. I stated in the video why I let the truck go. I also stated that the mission was never to pay off the truck. It was a stepping stone to accomplish another goal. It’s all good driver. Wishing blessings on you and nothing less than the best ✊🏾
Sure I’ll do settlement videos at my new company. Lives, podcasts, interviews and more. Definitely got to invest in some winter gear and hope things are good for you as well 🫡
No. It varies depending on year, make and mileage of the truck. Mines personally was $926 plus $226 for the maintenance account so $1126 weekly. Granted $926 is definitely a bit much 🤧
Good luck bro, we will be here

I didn’t have a final bill. They ended up owing me $471 .
I didn’t get a final bill. They owed me $471 after I turned it in
@@LoveandLifeLLC Oh really?? I thought SFI charge you a early termination fee or something like that
@@bigdawg1372 they do but if your maintenance account is built up high enough, they’ll take out the ETF from that and give u the remainder if any
@@LoveandLifeLLC Gotcha 👍🏾

You plan on doing any more settlement vids?
Good luck out there on the flatbed protect them hands at all times in this weather

I can’t imagine doing the sfi lease. I do great at JB hunt but I lease my truck but my note per month is what yall pay per week.
That’s the best way to do it is with a monthly payment instead of weekly. If I ever do it again, it’ll definitely be monthly
@@LoveandLifeLLCbe prepared for the big bill SFI is going to send you after you return the truck. 4K+
@@PACOJO_NAZOSLOSMIOS I’m aware. I have about 7k put up just for that
@@LoveandLifeLLCgood because I have a friend who truck was perfectly fine fully detailed and got a bill of 8k+.
Stay. Safe out there brother
I did 4 years wit em
How was it for you?
That's crazy you still made 2 3k with that truck note
I’ll admit that 3k is harder to attain but it’s not impossible. Definitely have to do east to west coast runs for that but 2k is definitely attainable
@@LoveandLifeLLC yhe truck note is what 1500 a week?

With the east to west coast runs can you do 4 to 5 a week or is 6 a week even possible?
@hawkotr yes. A fellow JB Hunt driver, Vibing with JRock, did those numbers and made a video about it
Do you pick what days u want to work? At JB Hunt
Yes sir! Pick your own loads from the app and come and go as you please
