I'm at JB Hunt and I made $106k last year working the Amazon Dedicated account out of Kenosha Wisconsin. Great benefits and management. I love the financial security of having a $1700 minimum weekly guarantee. Highly recommend for drivers with clean record and at least 6 months experience.
So what’s the home time like with that account? I’m currently intermodal in Ga
@@jed3443 I have moved to Ringgold GA about 45 days ago. I had to transfer from Kenosha to either Chattanooga or Hebron and chose Hebron because they pay more than Chattanooga. I took the 14/3 schedule. You schedule your own home time
I made 86k at JB last year without a sweat. Dedicated run, 10hrs a day 5 days a week. Folks do ur own research. Don't let no one's video fool you.
I had a student dip prime early to run that exact Amazon account in Kenosha
are you a company driver or leased?
Congratulations 🍾🎈🎊🎉 do what make you happy & comfortable working with 👍🏽
Prime PTSD!!!😂. Congrats Rob. Stay safe
Thanks for this bruh. I’m about to give up my authority and was looking into JB but I wasn’t sure if I should take the leap. Now I am. Maybe I’ll see you around.
I'm a Prime truck driver now signed up as a Solo Lease Owner operator that is working 7 days a week with only 5 days of home time in 5 months of working now with Prime Inc, making an average of $2,500 a week! But my Fleet manager talks to me like I'm a stupid little kid. I'm going to join up with you and JBhunt as a team driver in June when my friend is finished his job to work full-time as a trucker with me. Nice talking to you today.
I don’t think you can team at jb hunt with a Sfi truck I’m out here with rob
Was you flatbed under prime ?
Is that it?:x I make about that , sometimes more and I’m local .
I’m hoping that there’s more income to be made as I have dreams of going owner op / leased on
@j vega Not with Prime. And they're revenue is getting lower because they have more trucks than freight.
I like the fact you said this is 100% click bait 😂
You just set a blueprint for my road at getting my cdl and starting...
Not bad so far. Been talking with SFI and JB Hunt. Finally on the list now so just waiting for my truck. Can't wait to get started. Btw...did you find it difficult to plan your own loads after having that done for you for so long? Just curious what kind of learning curve there is. Lol
Keep up the great work dude. Hope to see you out there soon.
I did at first but once you find your groove you’ll be loving it
I will tell you this about jb hunt its hard to hustle here they always cancel loads on you so if you dead head far for a load and you get to the shipper and the load has already been picked up it socks and there's no other loads at that area. PS thats why alot of drivers come and go because you are competing with company drivers. They take the good loads from you!!!!
@@genaromeraz6041 I've been here now for a while. So far I have only had a couple canceled loads...all from the same company. So I blame them for that cause jbhunt was just as shocked about it as I was and they paid me for all my travel. As far as competing with company drivers...as far as I know ICs get first pick. And even though I've had bad weeks..it was more me being picky then anything else. But I will say I have seen the amount of loads diminish as of late with the horrible economy and today's generation who have little interest in working and just think they will get internet famous...lol
Wats the number for SFI and JB Hunt? I’m starting a lease purchase at US Xpress in March
Hey buddy do you have or can you make a video on the process with SFI. The associated costs, process, length of time to get the truck as well as the lease on process with JB. Thanks in advance for your time and content. Thanks buddy.
Yooooo this vid was big 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I'm at JB Hunt also making good money 💰.... Keep grinding my brother
I'm proud of you brother. Keep grinding 💪
Congratulations I’m proud you big dawg keep going god going to continue to bless you
I was with JB out of Chattanooga TN pulling Amazon loads and I was making damn good money, going out and back again and home every other night, unfortunately had to leave for family reasons
How to get that position?
Thanks bro I'm with jbhunt now I have to lease now asap
Nice video I had meet you at the Frito Lay's in California keep up the good work
I work for jb hunt man I love it fam jb a solid company I’m on the intermodal side tho trying to get my own truck now tho
Me to, I'm out of forest park
Great video. 💚🌱Are you in Jbhunt lease program? Where did you get your truck? I got a little lost somewhere .
Keep up the hustle! Just bought a truck going to try getting into local intermodal
Hey bro I been here for 3 weeks and doing 50% better profit than I did at Schneider in 3 Years. JB fuel discounts are second to none. Them California loads pay great I took a load out of there paying $13,900. I love it here bro.
Sounds like you're leaving out some details.
@@TruckerTy 💯💯💯
I was with schneider as an i.c for 6 years myself. With the 35 percent or more that schneider took it makes a huge difference in making 3 or 4 grand a week and actually making 5 to 7 grand a week. Big big difference. I've been trying to get on jb hunts 360 ic side for about 2 months.
I’ve only one month of experience and I know JB needs 3. I talked to a recruiter today and this has made up my mind. JB is In my near future.
how long is the wait for sfi? & when you were waiting did you still run otr as company or how did that work? sorry for all the questions plan on going to prime & coming over after a few months of saving & experience💪🏿
you making some great money, i know these fuel prices hurting but you doing good, keep ig up
Litt intro 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Maaaaan….im eatin peanuts here at prime doin tnt runnin. But i got 3months left and already got a truck at home waitin for me cause im goin owner opp
Yeah get your exp and dip, don't even rack milage on your truck at prime
@@benben7818 my truck at home wont run with prime. But im goin on 1.5 years here now and got 3 months in my lease. Im dippin after the lease cause i need $17k for insurance on the new truck
@@erick1076 hello 👋, im currently attending a cdl school to get my cdl class A. I would like to know more information about leasing, how does leasing works, if when you lease you stay with the truck at the end of the lease. And thank you i will appreciate your response. 👍.
@@vag4lvevo22 leasing you are basically borrowing and making the payment on the truck until the end of the lease, and the. You turn it back in
@@erick1076 ohh ok, so is it better to get into a truck financing better than leasing?
I'm also at jb and the loads are great
Is the tax and deduction including state taxes

Appreciate the info
That Intro kinda lit tho good shots
What is your ppm average, and your cpm difference? Also are you lease purchase, or actual oo? And are they taking escrow for repairs from your deductions?
I’m doing a lease purchase from SFI but I just run the independent contractor program over at JB hunt. And yes 100/week for escrow
@@truckerrob2382 SFI? Never heard of them.. I did lease purchase 🤪 from JB like 11 years ago, started off okay for first 4 weeks, then totally lost my my a$$ by the end of the first quarter, wife made me "RETURN" the truck, but ii couldn't even afford fuel, so I dumped it at thers nearest depot IN Syracuse NY... smh, worse decision I ever made was working with JB Hunt...
Hopefully they changed there practices.. 🙏
I've been at prime for 3 years. My numbers are very similar to yours if I took out my 1034 .00 truck payment. What will the truck payment be once it kicks in?
Depends on what u average
@@truckerrob2382 5 week average is 2488 before taxes after all expenses

So my qs is what was your take home with prime with the same route from California you forgot to mention what was the difference!
Congratulations sir, I’am thinking about bringing my to jb hunt in 2025, how is the pay for the dedicated accounts
Nice vid bro 🙏🏼
I work for jbhunt as an ic, took a lost the first week and made $2500 take home the next. just like two of my other fellow drivers and we did work hard !!!
$2500 before taxes?
@@guyb1942$ 2500 after taxes my next check is $ 2600 after taxes so I idk how he made those numbers lol
Do they work with sfi, or did you have to get the truck first then go to jb hunt?
They work with JB Hunt
I’m new to trucking- Can you please elaborate what you mean by your ‘truck’ payment? And how that break down works? Are you an owner operator? Would it be worth being an O.Oper?
Yes he’s owner op he leased his truck from a dealership or leasing company which means he has a payment coming out each settlement which is like a 1000 a week. Yes being owner op is worth it if your going to work hard.
Hey Rob so how long did you work for prime inc before you left? Do you have your own truck at jb hunt? Did you lease a truck from jb hunt or how are you making this kind of money? What route are you on?
I was at prime for almost 4 years….I went and leased to purchase a truck through SFI and went and got on with JBHunt
IC-Program with JBHunt. (Independent Contractor)

I enjoyed your video. So you are owner operator? How long did you drive before you decided to go o/o?
Drove for 1 year company at prime then I switched over to leasing the next 2 years at prime and decided to come to JB hunt
How long was the wait for a truck from SFI. Im on the waiting list now to get on over there and I'm a current Prime Driver. thanks for the information
Avoid SFI like the plague! Find any other way to get your truck
@@kenburkard why you say that
@@anishaarmstrong9718 just go do some research on SFI and their “Buisness practices” that are completely corrupt and are setup to make drivers fail, they have endless class action lawsuits against them - you are better off saving money and buying either a new truck directly from a dealer OR a pre-emissions truck ( no DEF ) made before 2010, then applying for your own operating Authority/ MC # and running loadboards on the spot market
Paid off my SFI truck without the hassle of putting 20% Down payment for a truck at dealership and all the documents they request. People who say go straight to the dealership are the same people who can’t afford to go get a loan through the dealership🤣
How do u get taxes taken out as a lease driver and what other benefits dose jb offer
Hell yea man I am a ic overe here at jb hunt and I bring between 3k to 5k aweek
Is that $3-5k before expenses?
truck payment come thru. that's when you will feel It. Jb hurt insurance probably cheap. im paying 2100 every month..
Is prime a good starter company? Also, how long experience do you need for JB hunt to take you as an Owner op.
Prime is a good starter and you will need 6 months experience with JB hunt

Would you still train a rookie driver?
Lol probably just to get there CDL but not the driving phase
Hey brother congrats. Are you making that money leasing or as owner operator
What are you running drop and hook ?
Have you run into the "empty hunt" I hear about from a lot of JB Hunt drivers where they report hunting for an empty for almost an entire day?
Yeah it happens. It’s when you go to a rail yard to deliver a box then you must look for an mt. It can take up to an hour. After 25min of looking I send in a message for another search to continue rolling
Is this a lease purchase doing dry van? Or reefer?
How often do you get home to your family? Just curious about J.B.Hunt or Western Express...
Well u can go home sooner but I’m about 4 weeks out and 2weeks off
@@truckerrob2382 bet,so you do have a choice of home time rotation...
Yes indeed
@@truckerrob2382 one last question. Do they have a lease purchase program?
Yes SFI is a 3 year lease purchase..after that it’s yours
How do you buy the truck?
You don’t have my permission to come to my city and my theme parks until you give me that truck 🤣
How much minimum do you have to put down at SFI ? I never heard of them before and this is all gray new info to me . I’ve been with prime a year and half I’m ready to mama more money
I heard for now there is a wait but minimum I think is 1k-5k
This is lease purchase? I’m planning to come to Jb hunt in may. I start school to get my cdl next month and the recruiter said they have positions available with 0 experience long as I have my cdl. It’s an apprenticeship program. I’ve heard nothing but good things about Jb hunt
The bad things about JB hunt. The dispatchers will terminate you after fourteen years for just joking around they're too strict

Hiring
How are you doing now with the shift in the market?
What position in JB Hunt are you working I'm currently working for JB Hunt myself as a intermodal regional driver and I only make about a over a thousand a week and I'm interested in increasing my income so I'm curious what position do you working with JB Hunt
Hey bruh whats good, how much money minimum someone need to save up to get a truck from SFI and run with JB HUNT? I'm looking to come back on the road soon during summer.
U need to have Atleast 10k saved up because you will pay a down payment for an SFI lease to purchase and the rest of the money for getting things for your truck etc…
@@truckerrob2382 thanks for the reply bruh, the down payment for the truck they choose for you or you put down any amount you want?
@@iggysemakula776 they choose for you especially lately because of the high truck prices and the demand for trucks they have a wait time so if you applied today it could be next year around this time before they can get you a truck.

JB Hunt?
That’s good bread fam going state to state I’m good

Hey bro im a intermodal driver at jb are you on a lease with jb or ur own truck and and you think if i do just local runs home dayly you make money here
I went through SFI but yea JB hunt has loads you can run bout 300+ miles and be back home…it depends where you live
How many miles a week do you run?
How long you had to wait on a truck
I got tired of 800 checks at JB hunt
How was that
Jb loves the optimistic ones.
You Ron the 360 loads?
Im sooooo confused lol do JB hunt offer CDL training? I need a whole break down lol maybe i clicked on the wrong vid
Jb hunt doesn’t offer Cdl training. Try prime, swift, Steven’s, cr englind…
Chico the truck breaker??? Congratulations
I am coming to JB Hunt next month
YEAH, I HEARD PRIME HAS GOTTEN BETTER SINCE I LEFT 11 YEARS AGO AND AFTER THEY LOST THAT LAWSUIT 😅
I used to have the same problem with my hands, so I switch to KY Jelly if you use KY Jelly you will not have that problem

I do all over but try to get myself to Cali like every other week
Do anybody have the number for SFI for JB Hunt?
Hey my brother do they due urine test or hair follicle test ??
Bro I'm on a dedicated account Monday through friday!!! Hauling flatbed $1400 a week salary!!! No weekends I clock in around 4am and off no later then 3pm!!! Jb has these accounts everywhere!!!! But I've been driving 22yrs!!! They take care of us senior drivers brand new trucks day cabs!!! Can't complain don't talk to anybody hardly get my folder for the day out of the mailbox strap those loads down take it to the jobsite come back drop hook and haul ass to the next jobsite!!! Day is done!!!!
That's what's trash about JB Hunt loads pay different depending on where you live. I live in Houston and ran Intermodal and loads paid more in Houston than Dallas doing the same shyt. I was at JB 13 years total because most of their work is easy but had to finally leave cause the pay is trash. Every account is design for drivers to make a maximum of $1200 a week 5 days. Amazon pay $1200 salary, I did Budweiser 3 years about the same $1250 Chep pallet and Rail. I was a Million Miler/trainer/Smith system instructor and still couldn't crack $300 a day which is what I call good money so i left. Every account in Houston has a high turnover with drivers and managers. I'm with a LTL company now making $28hr local in 3 years $31hr in 11hrs I've made $308 at JB I worked close to 14hrs just to make $230 lol. I'll crack $74k first year home every night.
Are you doing the lease purchase program or are you financing the truck on your own?
Lease purchase program
@@truckerrob2382 Thank you, and does SFI do a credit check or ask for a down payment?

No sir they still strongly do OTR
Are you leasing a truck with jb hunt?
Hey what’s up bro how are you
Did you end up giving up your LP truck at Prime? I know Prime usually lets lease purchase guys take their trucks to other companies.
Yes I did. Since I didn’t have my LP truck for more than a year Success leasing was fighting it
@@truckerrob2382 You only have to have it for 3 months in order to be able to take it with you to a different company. I have no idea how you just gave up your LP truck.
Was it that JB is one of those companies that you cannot take a Success LP truck just like Landstar?
How to get started ? 1099 is my next move.
jb hunt pays peanuts I used to gross 1,200 per week as a regional driver and the insurance is very expensive not worth it
Does jb help you get the truck?
You almost threw me off course especially when I’m planning on coming to JB
Don't be discouraged. JB is great. I made 86k doing regional. Home every night. Dedicated drop and hook. Five days week.
