One aspect that many miss here is how the fish sees the fly in the water. The pearl tinsel over the floss give an almost traffic light effect as in light behind a thick lens. Fish pick up more into the UV spectrum so to them the floss is more noticeable. A subtle glow. The soft hen badger hackle brings extra movement and life.
I really like this format of yours. Not sure if anyone else does it. I love Fulling Mill. If youre new to tying and don't know anyone else who does it, it can take a minute before you narrow down your favorite materials company, and I LOVE their ultra dubbing. The psychedelic and fluorescent colors especially.
