Poor Spencer ,He turned out to be a great man ,I pray nothing happens to him and his wife in the next season and his family is ok ,Im scared to watch the new season of 1923
How about when he killed the firstborn in Egypt, or Sodom and Gomorrah, even the floods that wiped out humanity? Psalm 137:9, Blessed shall he be who takes your little ones and dashes them against the rock! That’s just off the top of my head but I’m sure there’s plenty more
good christians don’t interpret the bible literally. All are equal under God let us all love our neighbors and treat EVERYONE with kindness. The Lord will be the judge, not us.
A good Christian wouldn’t push their individual interpretation onto others to live by. The Bible should be taken literally because that’s how it was meant to be when it was written. I think it’s funny people are against the Old Testament as if there’s a newer kinder god. God isn’t kind, he’s not generous, he’s abusive.
@@blackharvest13Nicely said. One of the strictest churches in Christianity, the Catholic Church, teaches not to take passages in the Bible literally. They have also taught that if Christ did not speak on it, it was not relevant to HIS teachings. 99% of the hatred in this world is because of some skewed version of a book that people only pay attention to if they need a reason to hate.

Feel like people in the Bible prayed for harm like all the time
And God obliged too
Example?
Not true at all

You feel like? Or you know? Have you read the bible?

I'm sorry, I do not see this in modern Christianity.

UPDATE: James made it home but it was his last night on earth.
Lady shut up, his first prayer was good, she pushed him to add to it
