Thank you John for all the hours of enjoyable time and music with you. I wished I would have known more about you earlier. Thank you to your family for KEEPING your music and stories alive. We ALL LOST A GREAT AMERICAN ARTIST. GOD BLESS YOU 🙌
John Prine is an American Treasure. So sorry he has not received more recognition. He touches on just about every subject & touches everyone's heart In one way or another, I could listen to him round the clock. Hope I get a chance to see him live before He Or I Pass. Thanks John for touching my life. (12-22-2019) / Harold Lee
I was introduced to his music circa 1980. Saw him a couple of time live. The 1st time (circa 1990) he led in an Arlo Guthry concert but I went to see john. Told my wife that he was not a headliner so we'd probably get choice seats early. THE PLACE was packed and everyone knew the lyrics to everyone of his songs. He was more popular than I ever realized. His music will live with us all till we exit the arena of life.
These are Great Songs , Mr. John Prine , You Are Absolutely The Best Singer Song Writer Ever . Your Mind Must Have Always Been Busy . Thank You For What You have Shared With Us , I Hope You Are All Playing Singing And Having Some Great Conversation. There Are Many In Heaven With You . RIP ♥️
John was in the groove on Fair and Square. One of the best albums of the millennium and arguably the best in the ouvre of the Mayberry Mailman, and we're talking one helluva back catalogue through the Tree of Forgiveness, when Prine got to heaven.
@raf ganowicz Guess you didn't know John also had Trump Derangement Disorder. Here's his hateful woke comments about Trump in an Apr. 4, 2018 interview about his new album in The Guardian. “I tried to write something about Trump - one was called Dear Mr President, but I found myself going into a rant in the first verse. I think the real reason I didn’t write a song about him was that I secretly kept hoping he’d be gone before I could get into the studio.”
Wrote with so much heart and wisdom.
R.I.P JOHN. WE ALL MISS YOU SIR. THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC. REGARDS A FAN FROM ENGLAND. 🏴

John is one year younger than me, I wonder how we got this ancient, all of a sudden.
I love this music.
sadly our souls are leaving, along with the disappearance of democracy and decency, but keep a lookout for the ones you love and your neighbor too.

in the tradition of mark twain, studs terkel, will rogers
He and I were the same age n i played the guitar once upon a time. Should have stayed with it. Long stubborn story 😩
Guess I was 16 at a friend's house and his oldest brother left box of records what a treasure
Aewsome
amazing, who will fill his shoes?
No such thing. That’s what makes only him unique - as you and me. There are no clones.
Tyler Childers is sounding pretty good with Prine. I wonder if he;s like grooming him for the future?
no one can fill his shoes...ever.
Who's playing Telecaster?
I sent this to a distant friend without any email address, living in Belize
