That court interpreter is a tatic by her attorney to try and go in a different direction because its not looking good for his defense.
Kent is broke, and Fotis possibly paid him a nice sum to get rid of Jennifer's body. I doubt Michelle know's where Jennifer is, and I doubt even Fotis knew. I think Fotis handed the body to Kent, and didn't want to know where Kent would place her. For all we know kent incinerated the remains, or placed her where she would not be immediately found.
