Jennifer Dulos Case: Missing Mom's Estranged Husband's First Interview | NBC New York I-Team

  • The estranged husband of missing Connecticut Mom Jennifer Dulos -- Fotis Dulos -- knows what the public thinks of him, and has a message for them: Wait until the facts come out.
    "I know what I've done, I know what I haven't done," Dulos said in an exclusive interview with NBC 4 New York. "I have to stand and fight and hope the truth is going to come out."
    It was Dulos' first interview since the disappearance of his estranged wife, Jennifer Dulos, more than a month ago. She went missing after dropping their five children off at school.
    Fotis Dulos and his girlfriend Michelle Troconis - who he said he still loves and thinks she still loves him, though her attorneys have filed a no-contact order - have pleaded not guilty to evidence tampering and hindering prosecution charges in connection with the May 24 disappearance of the New Canaan mom. Police says Fotis Dulos and Troconis discarded items containing Jennifer Dulos' blood in Hartford.

    It's ridiculous that he was let out on house arrest. He deserved to spend the rest of his life in jail and then eternity in hell for what he did to her and HER 5 children. It's too bad that Jennifer had to meet him. May she rest in peace. I hope his girlfriend gets life. She knew what was going on and was complicit.

      If he were innocent, it wouldn't be right not to allow him at least a chance to be free until trial.
      Unfortunately, low income people get the short end of that stick since there's no way for them to afford the bail that accompanies a murder charge.

      Not everyone would react like that, obviously, since stress/guilt/grief affects everyone differently but stone-cold calm typically isn't "normal" in this situation.

Conversely a disheveled, un orderly & unapproachable person is the one who can love and protect you all the days of your life. Give people a second and third look in both cases. This man downplays just how contentious the divorce is. The empathy he displays is for himself. Jennifer commented that she thought he would kill her when she filed for divorce. Fotus Dulous actually wanted to move his girlfriend Michelle Troconus into the home he was sharing with Jennifer and their five children while he was still together with Jennifer and their five children. Apparently the girlfriend was willing to go along with that and actually was living there with Fotus when his wife Jennifer went missing. What kind of a man has his wife and children move out of their home while he shares it with his girlfriend? And what kind of a woman thinks it’s perfectly fine to move in with him under those circumstances? Sounds like these two egregious characters are a perfect match. Oh, and by the way, his in laws were paying for the home. The police are building a case against him and count on his true love Michelle to try to save her own a.. - she’s already turning because, like Fotus, she’s really only interested in herself. He made sure she had him invited a week before so he could scan the house for cameras and general layout ... he knew her schedule and routine. I think he had this murder well planned ... and that he was the one reading the “Gone Girl” novel and watching perfect crime documentaries all along. Making sure he planned the murder down to the last detail .... he knew very well that without a body , he could not be convicted.. . Fotis must have most likely hired a hit man ( maybe flew one from Greece so that he can be sent back and never found again ) . Hit man committed the horrid murder and took the body wrapped up in some tarp in another vehicle .... Dulos then does crime scene cleanup, drives SUV to park , then proceeds to get rid of murder evidence dropping off several garbage bags, in different locations.... Poor Jennifer was driven away by hired hitman then hidden ... perhaps as far as other nearby county in the woods or some cement barrel somewhere .... almost impossible to find ....
    hit man then flies away back to Greece.....
    Dulos then plays innocent and victim role .... hires top defense team , posts bale , and annuls divorce proceedings ( so as to inherit her trust funds and life insurance ), then gets back custody of 5 kids ...... he also assumes Jennifer mother will then drop the lawsuits and continue supporting his business financially for the children’s welfare......

    He has very large bulging neck veins which is a sign of steroid use.( It could be just how he is built). Steroids used for muscle building have serious side affects like becoming violent. It gives them extra strength which would be handy if they intended to overpower someone or kill them . My ex boyfriend was a weightlifter and not that big but was on them and lost his temper . You didn't dare make him mad . He threw me across the room once without any effort. I think that Colorado guy, Chris Watts, who killed his wife and two daughters was on them . • @johnnydtractive
      @johnnydtractive 3 года назад +11

      To me, the issue isn't that you think 'he seems like a really nice guy'. The issue is that you think 'SEEMS' is enough to base a decision on. 'Charming good-looking & soft-spoken man' is a performance, a facade he employs. It's ok to have believed his performance, his facade--many many people believed it. What's important is that you know NOT TO RELY ON SIMPLY A FACADE to decide who you think someone is.
      Do not make decisions about someone based on a performance--how they 'seem' or their words. Always look to their ACTIONS & BEHAVIOURS to decide who they are. And if you look at his actions--disposing of the garbage bags of bloody evidence, his affair, etc--you immediately see he's not in fact a nice guy. That's when you know his 'SEEMS like a nice guy' is a performance, a lie behind which he's hiding.
      'SEEMS like a nice guy' is a believable lie this guy has been perfecting for years with his role as the public face of his business. However his ACTIONS--which is where the truth can be found--reveal who is actually standing there behind the facade he's created. Do not make decisions about who you think someone is unless & until you've given yourself a chance to move beyond their SEEMS & make an honest accurate assessment of their actions & behaviours over time.

      I know now what he did because of good policework, but I doubt I would have ever put him at the top of the suspect list based on his performa and not knowing the evidence they later found. (Gah, this conversation would have been so much easier to have in my native tongue.....🇸🇪.)
