Jennifer Dulos Case: In First Interview, Missing Mom's Husband Says 'I Know What I've Done' | I-Team

- The estranged husband of missing Connecticut Mom Jennifer Dulos -- Fotis Dulos -- knows what the public thinks of him, and has a message for them: Wait until the facts come out.
"I know what I've done, I know what I haven't done," Dulos said in an exclusive interview with NBC 4 New York. "I have to stand and fight and hope the truth is going to come out."
It was Dulos' first interview since the disappearance of his estranged wife, Jennifer Dulos, more than a month ago. She went missing after dropping their five children off at school.
Fotis Dulos and his girlfriend Michelle Troconis - who he said he still loves and thinks she still loves him, though her attorneys have filed a no-contact order - have pleaded not guilty to evidence tampering and hindering prosecution charges in connection with the May 24 disappearance of the New Canaan mom. Police says Fotis Dulos and Troconis discarded items containing Jennifer Dulos' blood in Hartford.

Those poor children. I can't imagine their pain. Losing both of your parents in the blink of an eye. If he was innocent, he wouldn't have done that to them. He would have fought for his kids no matter how long it took. He chose the easy way out because he's a coward. Just like he killed Jennifer rather than going through the divorce and paying child support. He chose a cowards way out once again.
Too calm cool and collected knowing the mother of your children has been “kidnapped or murdered” .... regular “normal “ people would be loosing their sh*t .... only psychopaths can sit there with no emotion ......

Because she probably would've been told beforehand that she couldn't ask those questions because he couldn't answer anyway since it was an ongoing investigation.

Something I noticed from watching Fotis speak.. he had an extremely strong accent for someone that lived in the US for so long and also studied at Brown university. Although some people have strong accents it is very rare that someone in these circumstances would have such a strong accent unless he did not study what he claimed he did and was clearly not practicing enough at his job.. this is a red flag..
You're so wrong about accents. People can learn speach and sounds best upto age 12 I believe. After that, it's hard. You can spend years knowing a new language, but the accent won't leave, because you just can't get certain sounds right. Accents can change a bit, but they don't go away. For instance, I have yet to meet an English speaker try and get the CH, and umlaut sounds right from the German language, even after living and learning German.
Yeah, you’re wrong. I’m born and raised in mainland US but am bilingual. Spanish being my first language. I still have an accent, different from solely English speaking peers.
His English is excellent…he just has an accent. My ex husband was from the north of England & had moved to Australia 30 years ago & still had a fairly strong Mancunian accent.
Depends what age he came to the states. He has a slight accent it’s not a straight Greek accent. My dad came to the states as a teenager. He barely has a recognizable accent though you can hear it here or there. My cousins who came around 9-10 have no accents. And my mon who came in her 20s still has a strong accent. I also know people who came as teens and even kids who have accents so I don’t know the statistics or reasoning behind it but it varies.
Oh “this guy”, gave me that icky feeling from the jump. And just because he’s dead now doesn’t free him from suspicion. Of course, it only makes it worse. And OBVIOUSLY, no one else knows what goes on behind closed doors, we all know that. And we know that people are NEVER 100% one way or the other. I get that! But if he was trying to insure his place among the rich and famous by marrying a rich girl, then having 5 kids to seal his place in Alimony Heaven he sure mucked it up. Civility, as trite as that sounds is ALWAYS a better decision to murder. Especially when you’re later caught on multiple camera’s around town dispersing of the bloody evidence. Then going on TV and acting like you’re so innocent. And to say such BS like he’s “praying” for her. To who? But the real kicker for me was when he and his lowlife Attorney tried to accuse Jennifer of being
a “Gone Girl” situation like the book and movie. I mean what a couple of sleazy guys. Lawyers do that crap are “doing their job”, they claim. Hartford video surveillance that showed Fotis Dulos dumping garbage bags the night of his wife’s disappearance the bags contained Jennifer Dulos’ blood and her clothing. Efforts to clean up a Toyota Tacoma police believe was used in connection with Jennifer Dulos’ disappearance. Then the suicide evidently expressed guilt and fear of going through court system with all these allegations. And now left the girlfriend to have to face the consequences of prison after it is all said and done.

Fotis wanted to raid the kids' trust funds and to do that he needed to get rid of Jennifer. Except, he's a dumb psychopath and got caught. He's in such deep debt he overvalued his assets to make bond and once that was uncovered, he committed suicide because he knew he'd never get out of prison.

He has few friends that have provided a character reference. Who the hell is he? He’s described as charming and a good father. That’s it. I don’t see the charm. I really don’t. He might be attractive in a conventional business man kind of way but I’d look at him sideways. He doesn’t even interview well.

You have every right to express your opinion. I would not say he is innocent. He is confident that he will be found not guilty because there was no body found. The police have charged him and he is out on a bond. He is not allowed to contact his girl friend. The police have all the resources to get him. IMHO his girl friend will turn him in.

@@ronnynoneofyourbusinessgoo7892 how was it a strange suicide? He knew they were gonna revoke his bond and he'd have to go back to jail. He sat in his garage in his car with the door shut. The easiest way to die, you just fall asleep.
