When requesting an organ transplant, the patient should be allowed to decide what kind of donor they want to be a recipient of. I've not looked up any research in the matter, because it's something I just considered. I don't know if organs from a donor that commited themselves wouldn't have been under some kind of duress. I know there's a movie (fiction) out about a woman who was the receiver of donors... eyes I think? Makes you wonder about how organs act, that come from bad people and if those newly placed organs don't make a negative impact on the recipient.
