This really is the greatest ‘what’s in the bag’. I don’t even care about the clubs, his presentation is so real & natural lol. ‘Here’s what I use from clubs to my belt’. Perfect.
I was expecting a full fold out cigar rack to come out of the side of the bag with a host of different cigars and a good bottle of brandy to accompany them! If he sold a Jiménez custom bag with cigar storage he'd be onto a winner 😀
What an absolute geezer! The man is old school, loved him sharing his thoughts on modern golfers playing with so many clubs the art of playing the ball is being lost What a legend!
I love the comment about playing with 10 clubs instead of 14, Miguel. I have just changed my irons and chosen a half set due to price. So I have irons 5,7,9,and a 45 degrees pitching wedge, and 50 degrees sand wedge. It teaches you more about feel and having to improvise when you have a distance between clubs. Thanks for sharing.
LOVE IT! no hybrids! Miguel grew up with about the same pros playing as I did. Even though I can't get everything he says, he says so much that works with my way of thinking. I like his idea of a 10 clubs as well as Gary Player's comments about cutting back the ball for professionals. They can play with less, and we can too. And the shoes are killer. I love the old-school stuff, but I'm "slumming" with Footjoys, not Italian hand-mades. But then my work boots are.
Thank you Miguel for continuing to remind me how wonderful life is and how to truly enjoy Golf! May God bless you and your family with great health and well being! Looking forward to seeing more hole in one's! Love 😎😎😎😎😎😎🍾🍾🍾🍾
He's like julio, from the old Paul Whitehouse sketch! What a great guy though, just a short clip but you can just tell he loves life! I agree with his idea of a 10 club rule too.
Brilliant character and always enjoy watching him and his mannerisms. To many other boring players on tour at least Jimenez is entertaining. Would be the equivalent to watching Steve Davis 😴and Alex Higgins 🤪keep it up Miguel 😁👌👌👌👏
Miguel strikes me as the type of guy that if he wasn't sponsored by a company and forced to play with their latest stuff(like most contracts are nowadays) that he would stick with the same set of clubs for years.
Interesting that he suggests using fewer than 14 clubs. 10 he says. Hitting less than full shots is a lost art and learning how, I suppose is only going to benefit your game. Of course it's going to take a little practice. His gapping is 10 yards between most clubs and 15-20 between wedges (only 2, 52 & 60)
Nice video and what sense on the ten club suggestion - thus will ensure golfers have to play more adapted golf shafts - would welcome ten clubs or even less - some of our best scores come in our club competition?
Few bottles of beer, bottle of jack daniels, few millon dollars worth of poker chips, few hundred cigarettes :) Great WITB one of the great characters on tour, Eddie Pepperell is another.
A fixed camera position is a bad idea. Why can’t you show close ups of the clubs to show any modifications that may have been done. Also it would be interesting to see ball strike marks on the club face etc. From that distance he could have been holding up any old club. Great player and a great character though.
@Scotty p Fair points - that would have helped. However, time with these guys is often in short supply so we end up prioritising getting the interview part done.
Lol ok got it love jiminez but sponsored by ping its not a shock he has all ping new stuff as in his contract lol. Do amateur players the good ones or college witb
Did you guys just leave the camera on a tripod and let him talk about whatever he wanted? No zooms, doesnt follow his moves at all. I couldnt see anything of his clubs.
Apologies all - slight correction... The putter he is using is the PING Sigma Fetch (the one you can pluck the ball out of the hole using).
An amazing sportsman ,does golf proud .You can see that he enjoys his life to the fullest and is a purist of golf .Forever be
a legend of the game .
@tryNtryAGAIN - very well said!
This really is the greatest ‘what’s in the bag’. I don’t even care about the clubs, his presentation is so real & natural lol. ‘Here’s what I use from clubs to my belt’. Perfect.
My favourite golfer of all time, this man is a legend and I’ve had the privilege of watching him play.
A class guy! Always a pleasure to watch him,and was privileged to meet him once.
Yup - top bloke!
I was waiting for the cigar and was not disappointed.

What a legend!
Love this guy, he brings some character to the senior tour. Not a cookie cutter athlete like the regular tour players.
What a great personality! Love it! Good luck in all you do Mr Jimenez!!

Opus X and golf….greatest duo ever. Senor Miguel, you’ve got a new fan!
Breath of fresh air in modern golf !!
His golfing success is a biproduct of him being a great, honest guy that just enjoys being out on the course.
@acestylerr - agreed! Amateurs could learn more by watching him than almost anyone else!
This is a man who enjoys the finer things in life. Great to see him having success on the Champions Tour.
Legend Miguel Angel Jimenez.
Only a straight up OG uses a 7 wood..
I used a 7 wood instead of hybrid, best club ever
And old guys who have more woods than irons
@@evanlegere4154 Tommy fleetwood plays a 7 wood....

I love that guy, Jimenez. He’s very cool and funny.
Needed subtitles lol ... One of my favourite golfers. Such a personality, .. which is so lacking in golf now.The cigar at the end ...of course !!
He's like julio, from the old Paul Whitehouse sketch!
What a great guy though, just a short clip but you can just tell he loves life! I agree with his idea of a 10 club rule too.
A golfer and a gentleman
Best witb ever. The man is so Kool. Makes some good points as well. Maybe the PGA should listen
Just love this guy!!!!
Brilliant character and always enjoy watching him and his mannerisms. To many other boring players on tour at least Jimenez is entertaining. Would be the equivalent to watching Steve Davis 😴and Alex Higgins 🤪keep it up Miguel 😁👌👌👌👏
The COOLEST and most fun golfer in the world! hands down
Great idea about 10 clubs.Would definitely make the guys think about shaping and working the ball.
Coolest man in golf😆Absolute legend!
Opus X Arturo Fuento great cigar!!!
I play Pings because of him!
Great clubs!!
Thats an awesome guy. Love the cigar
Most Interesting Man In Golf! Wish he would have showed some of his stretches!
What time is it? Breaks out the AP! I like this guys style
Superb! What a character Mig is...
Very interesting...wish I could understand what he is saying.
That putter looks awesome indeed :)
This guy is awesome...
Absolutely classic gentleman golfer.
10 clubs! This is great! I want to see the pros in some trouble too!
Cheers for the insight Rafa
And of course, "I have my Opus X". Yeah, buddy! Excellent Choice!
The world's most interesting golfer. I don't always make birdies, but when I do, I enjoy a cigar.
1:02 I've never heard them called "wooden fairways" but may steal that
Miguel strikes me as the type of guy that if he wasn't sponsored by a company and forced to play with their latest stuff(like most contracts are nowadays) that he would stick with the same set of clubs for years.
Hickory shafts. Almost no grooves left.
agreed, has to look at the headcover to see what driver he's playing.
Life is good!
Absolute Legend
I love this man! 0:08 “l’m going to show you what is with me.” What’s with him?! How many stuffy tour pros have asked that over the years?
A fan of the 10 club idea
That's how you do what's in the bag..😎 cool man
he is brilliant
I love Mig

He likes different parts of his belt to come from different countries, for optimon style and class!!!
I didn’t know who to Miguel was until someone told me that I look like him with my long hair and now I can’t get enough of him
Nice video and what sense on the ten club suggestion - thus will ensure golfers have to play more adapted golf shafts - would welcome ten clubs or even less - some of our best scores come in our club competition?
@Adam Hopkins - playing devil's advocate here, but... wouldn't this make an already difficult game even harder?
@@GolfMonthly Sometimes I play with 8 clubs. At 80 plus it's as many as I can Carry.
Opus X arturo fuente!! Great cigar!!
Like what $40 USD a stick if you can find them?
Larry Proffer depends on which ones, fuente opus x super belicosos can be up to 66AUD here in Melbourne....
When he puts his foot on the bag.
He is mad as a march hare but a great guy.
I'd love to see him give a golf lesson on his great swing.
A real Ryder cup hero.
Need subtitles next time. Love me Miguel!!!
10 clubs great idea!
I have been thinking about this for many years now. Not Longer courses BUT fewer clubs in the bags. That would make things very interesting
I just counted 15 in his bag.
He did say that depending on the course he plays the 7w or the 3i
I didn't get the shoemaker in Milan
Hello - yes, sorry - the shoe manufacturer is Nebuloni and his belts are from Elliot Rhodes in case that one was a bit tricky to pick up too
Legend.
Miguel is ready now.
Brilliant 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
strange no bottles of wine.
Goat!
Miguel wacth: AP...didnt expect less....
No me extraña que te lleves tan bien con Quino Montero...
do john daly next
Now that would be funny lol
Few bottles of beer, bottle of jack daniels, few millon dollars worth of poker chips, few hundred cigarettes :)
Great WITB one of the great characters on tour, Eddie Pepperell is another.
Didn't get a word of that...Think he said that he was Harry with the Parrot
Such a gent
i watched this and grew some huevos !!
Legend
Nice Video but the putter is the Fetch model not the Tyne.
Sorry - hands up - our mistake on that one!
@@GolfMonthly No Problem. Thank You for the great videos you guys always do.
l bet he could whip a lot of golfers with ping eye 2's.
I thought he would have a humidor pocket on his bag 😁
Who plays a blade 3 iron and a 7 wood, gangsta. At 5:00 i thought he was busting out the cigar stash.
Life is incomplete without the Cigar ...no
Eres un figura
Kinda gotta wonder why a guy that can't be swinging faster than 105 mph bothers with metal spikes, but whatever works I guess.

Fantastic guy😊
15 clubs?
Yes, he chooses which one to drop before each tournament
8 irons, 4 woods,2 wedges 1 putter=15
Yes, these are the 15 clubs he travels with - he leaves one out before he starts on Thursday!
@@GolfMonthly I understand that but a little rich of him suggesting the 10 clubs idea!!
@@musquito333 lol Mus!!! you travel with more too!!! 10 is a great way to teach the muppets here about a bit of feel etc!!! the Fat bag dragger...
