Rick is in absolute legend! He could have sold out so many times like so many other RUclipsrs cleaning manufactures latest and greatest will give you X. He sticks to what works for his game.
Curious where he got that PW😂. I ordered a set of 23 t100 irons and told the company I bought from to hold on to the pw as I had a vokey 46…that PW had a tour issue x100 and a white mcc grip just like his😂.
Look at all the better players and see how the clubs are for use and not show, there’s no prestigious shiny clubs, it’s about what works and makes them play better. Including myself I’m all about appearances and maybe I need to lose the pride and appearance of what they are actually for. But I do appreciate the cost of purchasing clubs is expensive and should take care of them, but maybe change to view they are for use and not get hung up on looking cool or better and playing poor
Great video. Goes to show you don’t the “latest and greatest “ his 3 wood is 7 years old! I was guilty of this over past 6 years since 2017. Had way too many clubs. Since 2017 I’m on my 4th set of irons. My current set are T100S 2021 and These will be in my bag for several years. Same with my current TSR3 driver, 3, 5 woods and 4H. Not changing anytime soon
It can be very tempting to chop and change all the time in the hope of instant success or fixes. Far better saving some of that money and spending it on lessons, then just changing your clubs every few years instead.
@stephendibari5010 "Goes to show you don't need the latest and greatest" Ummm hate to break it to ya but a bag of Titleist tsr3 driver, woods and hybrids are the latest and greatest. You make it sound like you're playing a set Ping g10's....
@@jlnew10 😂 I’m fully aware I have the latest and greatest. My bag is set for many years to come. Compared to where i started in 2017, yes I changed clubs too often.
Great video. Tbh I’m really shocked that Rick hasn’t been sponsored by a brand by now. Be interesting how he would feel losing some of these clubs out the bag if he was tied to one brand. Obviously a big cheque would ease the pain 😋
You know, watching him go through his bag, you can really see his lack of knowledge/caring towards the shafts in his clubs. He uses basically bog standard shafts in pretty much half his bag, when there are probably better aftermarket shafts that would suit his swing better. His content would be so much better if he started caring about it like the Peter Finches and TXGs of the world.
@@TG-mt6ke They are, ok. But he could really learn from knowing what characteristics his shafts have. It feels like he gets what comes stock in X and that’s it.
I’m using the same shaft in the driver as him the Mitsubishi tensei orange. I’ve had a few shafts on different driver heads over the years an I have to say for me personally it’s one of the best I’ve used. I’ve had them all hazardous smoke , fujikura , project even flow etc…
@@wayne.1 Well it may be good for you but not necessarily for him. That Tensei Orange is a Mid Launch and Spin shaft, with as much spin as he puts on a ball having a lower spin shaft may be beneficial.

Ricks a class act, doesn’t give himself enough credit when he’s on the course. Would love to see him with some really forgiving irons though.
Rick is a trailblazer in the RUclips golf space. I have been watching him for years.
I liked the Wilson irons you had 6 or 7 years ago greet irons. You hit them well.
Gonna go get myself a G425 Max. Thanks Ricky
I’ve one! Excellent driver!
Good point on rescue clubs, exact reasons i dont carry one ... excellent WITB.
Rick I think you did review that 3 wood in the video titled: "NEW 2017 COBRA KING F7 FAIRWAY WOODS REVIEW"
And said I want one 👍🏽
He did and he said he hated the color!

picked up a 425 LST a beast & accurate never owned Ping driver before impressed
Great video and good advice. Get the clubs that work for you rather than brand dedication. Keeps the brands working harder for better clubs.
I love a WITB! Although I already know the contents of this one 😉
Love these witb but please ask them what shafts please
DiMarco v Tiger was 2005
I sure remember Rick reviewing that!
Love old Bluey!!!!
No there is a video with the 3 wood because you hit it out of divots the rough deep rough. That is why I tried it myself
Rick can you tell me why I dont feel my driver went I hit it off the tee?
Rick should play the new Ai Smoke max fast irons!

Hope to see Rick get a fitting by Ian and Mikey!
Godfather of golf
A reminder to many of the bellends in the comments, the best golf coaches in the world aren't scratch golfers. Lot of very ignorant comments.

I think, understandably, he feels that would make it harder to review clubs without people doubting his integrity.
Rick has stated in videos and on his podcast that he has been offered sponsorships and has turned them down for the integrity of his reviews.
Right about the hybrid s tends to go left 😊
Rick, follow Grant's lead, he has the Taylor made P-770's, a slightly more forgiving club
Can we maybe see the bag that Rick talked about for 2 minutes?
There's a slow-mo pan of the bag from 15:20...
Thanks!
Anyone know what glove Rick Shiels uses?
Rick has done a ‘bluey’ review in 2017 thought he’d want to know lol
And he hated the color btw!
Good to know.. I’ll stay clear of them 😂
Where is the Wilson Triton driver??😂
😂
Old bluey lives forever 👍⛳️👍😅
Rick went from a club reviewer to a “golf influencer”. It’s unfortunate bc I liked the club review videos much more
Keep an eye on the H.I.T Golf channel as he has plans to get a lot more reviewing done going forwards.

Whatever wedge rick is using are definitely worth an avoid 😮
So you're as bad as him with wedges. That sucks...

Put a Airtag in that bag before you fly next time!

Not bad for a 14 handicapper

Rick has struggled with his short game, but leaves all the bad shots in his videos!
Rick sure has put on the beef!!😉😉
What's that got to do with anything?
I love how Rick is not custom fit throughout the bag with all of his connections

That’s for this video couple of weeks and he will have a different few clubs he fiddles I think to much
In fairness, there's only four clubs in this bag that are 2023 models, David, and his 3-wood is ancient in modern tech terms!
