On July 1st, 2015, Gary Robbins - a seasoned and winning ultrarunner - started at Longmire, in the shadow of Mount Rainier, and attempted to set the fastest known supported time around the Wonderland Trail. Kyle Skaggs' record of 20 hours 53 minutes was always considered unbeatable. 93 miles, over 24,000ft of elevation gain, and record breaking heat. This day had it all. Could Gary step up to the challenge?

I absolutely love how he always says "please" after telling his crew members what he wants also after 60 miles and more. That every time again shows his great personality. I have huge respect for this guy and wish him many more accomplishments

When I met Gary for the first time I felt a special kind of energy around him. After watching this documentary, it confirmed one thing: it's not about his aura, it's just the way he is: connected to nature with a real passion to run and experiment life at the fullest.
It's always hard to describe how you feel when you run because it is a very intimate, personal moment. Gary + Ginger Runner have done amazing work here. This clip is not about competing, it is a very deep storytelling about a human being in quest of his own journey, an exciting challenge that he set himself and shared to his friends (and the rest of us !).
Thank you for sharing this experience with us. If you could receive an award, it would be WELL DESERVED !
Gary: awesome focus and discipline. You can truly see authentic, genuine love of the act of running, his pure connection to nature and people around him.
    Love it.
Thomas who loves getting lost in all your races...

For a very long time the 2014 Gorge 50k was my favorite Ginger runner film. But not anymore, it's this one. What a great movie! Great shots, great story, great people. I don't know Gary but based on this film alone I think he's incredible. Going for the FKT is hard as it is but then to have the heart to share the experience with his friends by taking them along (and dropping them) shows he has a great heart. Ethan, Jeff great stuff. Gary you are the best!

A very big CONGRATULATIONS on this run!! It´s not only 93 miles but all the work that has been done before. It is not an easy challenge but not impossible either. Just like this one, whether smallest or biggest, it keeps us "running" for more and finding out what we are capable of. Although I am only starting on my running resume, I am familiar with the feeling of achieving something that has been cooking for some time. Again, CONGRATULATIONS to you Gary and the whole team! Hope one day I can achieve something as big as Mt. Rainier. All the way from Mexico, keep up the good work! Cheers.

You are upping the game Ethan. Awesome person, story, and production. Going to be a lot of new Gary and Wonderland Trail fans out there now. Congrats!

+Schlarb-Wolf Productions Thanks man! Proud of this one. There's that secret part of me that didn't want to expose the world to the epicness of the Wonderland - can't let it get to crowded out there, haha. But Gary deserves all the love :)

+Gary Robbins Inspiration means nothing without action. I am recovering from last weekends 90km run in the Drakensberg, and watched Wonderland again this morning. I was laced up before the end credits were done........Thank you for the inspiration!
