I've never liked the Mezco figure. His neck is too long and he is too squatty and short. The sculpt is great though. I do like the head sculpts on Mezco.
I have the Mezco one and love it. I love the old school look. I have the Darkseid and Grail set and that one is cool as well. The Injustice versions of the DC characters I am generally lukewarm on, but I'm liking this Darkseid.
How well is he able to cross his arms? Cause my dream is to have a dark seid articulated enough to pull it off! Nice review man! Definitely my favorite reviewer out there!

I played Injustice 2 competitively and my main was Darkseid and I can tell you that I FREAKING LOVE this figure, it's very accurate to the game. The chop hands are accurate too because he does to an overhead chop for a combo starter. Great Review man and aye we Storm Chaser group members!

This is definitely going to be my first Storm Collectables figure for sure, probably my favourite Darkseid design too. That Mezco figure is tempting but I don’t really like figures with real material.
Kirby Darkseid is by far the best design. I'm not a fan of the overly armored, ostentatious designs. There's only one modern(ish) design that gave him added detail that I like and that was his appearance for the series finale of JLU -- but the reason that one worked while the rest don't, imo, is because instead of giving him a bunch of extra armor or gold like the New 52, an Omega symbol like the DCEU or modern comics, etc... they instead took his classic design and injected it with more Kirby in the form of that classic Kirby "circuitry" that you see all over a lot of the other New Gods, Eternals, Inhumans, Celestials, and characters inspired by Kirby such as modern Thanos designs.
there is one picture that would have been cool. showing darkseid from the back and have him looking slightly behind him and then make the omega beams fire from his eyes
Darkseid is definitely my favorite. He always has been, and the Snyder cut made me like him even more. This has to be the best figure of him I've seen and I was not disappointed and I am pleased to have it in my collection. Sold my Thanos figure to get some extra money to get this lol. Even though I like the infinity war comics and movies and Thanos and Josh Brolin's portrayal, I've always been a much bigger Darkseid fan personally.
Why has Storm gotten so bad at engineering legs? Every single large DC figures has BIRTHING HIPS. That wasnt an issue with Sagat and it wasn’t an issue with Goro. Now all of a sudden these figures have enormous thigh gaps and bulbous hips. That was my only complaint with my Lobo figure.

I noticed Gamestop excluded the Lobo figure for buy 1 get 2nd 50% off the next day after I made my purchase so hopefully with fingers crossed they push my order through. Thanks for the video, I probably watched this like 5-6 times already lol. Helped me decided on the purchase.

How i wish the Mezco one is much more taller like this and got much longer omega beams but still i will get the Mezco one because i like the vintage comic accurate look and looks perfect along with Mafex tdkr..
