We sued. Over 500,000 in damages. It was not hard thankfully.

That’s amazing! I’m glad you had a positive experience with that process!

I finally got my CSM, (after diagnosis by VCS and blood work I bought online a couple months back). I somehow managed to convince my Primary Care Doctor, although she was Very skeptical and NOT happy writing the script, which I completely understand her viewpoint, not having much research into this subject. She said not to sue her if I get sick from the CSM, which I assured i'm already sick, you don't have to worry about that. I was actually kind of surprised she even wrote it.
Anyway, I just started my heavy dosing of Omega3's, which I am going to for a week here before I begin to ease into the CSM as an extra precaution.

There is actually dozens of research papers over the span of 17+ years on the proven effectiveness of CSM... I would encourage your PCP to search CIRS or Cholestyramine on PubMed, or even just Dr. Richie Shoemaker, to get more comfortable with the protocol. The studies are there and are really impressive once you dig into them... I hope she does!

Yeah, good luck with that. Ive been trying for MONTHS. No one knows about these cases, and most attorneys are too lazy to do hours of research to learn. Also, I contacted this woman’s firm in Austin and it was not helpful AT ALL. Don’t waste your time.

They are excellent but very busy. If you tell them what your needs are, they may be able to refer you to someone. They referred me to someone who handles mold cases and could answer some questions about my lease situation.

True she does only pick and choose cases. She only cares about $$$!

I’m sorry to hear you had a negative experience of her firm. I know they are trying to refer people as they are able!

Hey, this is Barbara - I worked on the plaintiff side for employment law attorneys that operated off contingency fees. I am not sure how Kristina runs her firm, but if it's anything like my experience: The unfortunate fact is that some cases are winnable and some are not. When lawyers turn down cases, they do it for everyone involved - themselves, the potential client, everyone. You don't want to waste time, energy, and resources on an unwinnable case - and cases can be unwinnable for a variety of reasons, most of which are not your fault or under your control. Maybe a different attorney like Bob McKee would be willing to take your case? Maybe he would see something Kristina missed. I encourage you to keep trying if you are determined to take action. I hope you find someone that can help you!

Coming up on my first year of treatment and now sicker. Hearing the average of 12-18 months helps but my doctor didn’t sugar coat it: I’m her edge case.

Ugh, so sorry to hear that. When members stall at that point, we usually encourage them to look at the possibility of still being in exposure, which can mean environment, a bad root canal, or co-infections like tick-borne illness/lyme or long COVID.
