The black rubber bands always break when using them making the style completely impossible..is there any special rubber band I can use?

Omg. In love with this technique. I miss my long hair and I've been wanting to do box braids. I was intimidated by typical techniques because my hair is so short, I didn't think I could get the braiding hair to stay on my roots. The rubber band takes care of that. PLUS, no need for a crochet needle, which is good since I don't have those tools.
You are an inspiration in braiding..am learning a lot from you but I would like for you to do some crotchet cornrows or rubberband butterfly box braids
