One thing I felt Gauff needed to work on was her aggression on her forehand and hitting more winners and she’s definitely showcased this tonight against a tough opponent who would beat her most of the time. She used to get punished from hitting too many looping forehands but this game she was completely dominant, hitting more flat power shots and winners. If she can hit like this consistently she is gonna be another Serena in the making 💪
So happy for Coco that she has made changes to her forehand. It’s more than the grip. The preparation is much earlier, the swing path is less loopy and more direct, allowing her to hit more forcefully through the ball, and, maybe most importantly, it looks like she has a plan on each shot, attacking the ball differently whether it’s on the rise or coming in low. I think she has the most talent of anyone on tour, and better technique on her shots will enable her to make best use of all her athletic gifts.

Coco’s forehand has seen such amazing growth. Power, spin, precision depth! Her forehand is now competing with her backhand as her strongest weapon! Could we possibly see an ascension to the top spot for her this year..?
It really wasn't. She's maturing and playing with in herself. She didn't play her best. Her maturity level has raised her game level. And now her average level of play is automatically higher. She doesn't have to play her best to beat the best players anymore.
This proves that (again) that sports cannot escape the woke agenda, this player is a product, like others, they gave her the US Open 2023, the Masters 2024 and now they are planning to give her the number 1, she's not even that good, and the REAL number 1 was playing hyper slow, through out all the tournament, i'm tired of the WTA corruption, hope the new US president will do something about it (woke in sports), CHRISTUS VINCIT, CHRISTUS IMPERAT. DEUS BENEDICAT TIBI.
It’s crazy how the tables turn, in past matches coco’s forehand and inconsistent serve used to be Iga’s path to victory.
I’m loving this Coco!!
Gauff served her her own portions of tea she has been giving to others
Coco is hitting hard af now! Hitting with such power, purpose, and conviction! We loooove to see it 💥👊💪😁😁
Great match... CONGRATULATIONS COCO! 🥳
whoaaa this rivalry is going to get very interesting i love to see it!! coco’s forehand…absolute fire
That hand shake said it all.
Right!
And the meds
Sore loser. Bad attitude. Too much pride
Serena remembers those fondly👊🏿👊🏿
SUPER HANDSHAKE TO SOMEONE WHO ONLY DISPLAYS RUDENESS! GO IGA! ❤❤❤
Yes Coco!! ❤ Great play!! You're amazing!
Dare I say women’s tennis is becoming as entertaining as mens tennis post Williams, Sharapova, Henin, and Clijsters. This year looks very promising.
Please don’t jump to conclusions. This is far from that era; oh how quickly yall forget. We would have matches like this from the quarterfinals
@@ajollypanda4175 not just here Brisbane had great matches as well. The quality is looking good this year so far. Hopeful it continues.
@@AFCompany Women’s tennis is lacking athleticism, I’m 16 and play high school football and Coco and Iga have nowhere near the amount of raw athleticism that I have.
@@whosehousefootball5772 are you a girl? Because if you think they don’t have athleticism you are crazy. They are ridiculous athletic.
@@whosehousefootball5772 are you a girl?
GO Coco!✨✨✨✨
Simply, COCO, she's the best and has not dropped a single set during the tournament, well done the Queen of Tennis.
She is playing great but, she isn’t the queen of tennis. That would be Sabalenka. She is #1 right now.
Fantastic! Maybe women's tennis will improve now, and the weak era will finish.
@@marykistnen6837It's only "weak era" when Coco Puffs loses, when she starts winning it's no longer "weak era". You are funny.
JUST A PUFFED UP COCOA FAN!!.NO REALITY!!
Well done girl confidence is certainly up now way to go .
YES, GO COCO💙💙
Finally the forhand we have been waiting for from Coco. Now she has so much choice and the power when she needs it.
Wow, Coco! Wow!! Keep it up, girl!!
Coco finally found out her way to defeat Iga! Very excited I can see Iga's cold handshake!
Serena remembers those👊🏿👊🏿
Scintillating tennis from both ladies come on CoCo no1 this year let's get it 💪 ❤
Won't happen, The SAAB will be No.1 !!
WOW the stank attitude at the end from iga speaks loud af, Congrats to COCO for the win now get that #1 spot.
It's clear that these players do not like each other. Makes for great tennis.
yeah
stank attitude from Karen and Coco speak loud af
@@ClandOpcorrect. Bring back the feuds! Thats what made the early 00s so great.
I think she's just tired of not being able to win a title for her country. She has many chances this past year
go back to Roland Garrod SF 2024 and tell us if u see a stank cold attitude from Gauff 🙂
hf buddy
Congratulations Coco we have a new Coco in 2025
straight sets. love to see it.
YIKES !!! Gauff made a very high energy statement ! Looking forward to seeing these two juggernauts in another very dynamic match !!! 😮😊
Phenomenal level from Gauf. Hasn't lost a set all week, despite playing some of the most tenacious players on the tour.
Cocoa is certainly on a great run of form. If she is willing to come to net more and not retreating to the base line so much, she could become an unstoppable force.
Go Coco 🎾⚘️❤️🇺🇸
Damn this goes well with a hearty bowl of soup. Excellent goose stuff
🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
Gumbo ??
I will take 12 with 12 baguette ‘s 🥖 😂😂😂
Gauff seems to have filled out a bit which is probably giving her more power.
CONGRATS IGA FOR A SUPERB TOURNAMENT❤❤❤
Coco’s forehand has seen such amazing growth. Power, spin, precision depth! Her forehand is now competing with her backhand as her strongest weapon! Could we possibly see an ascension to the top spot for her this year..?
Wow this was definitely cocos best match all of her career
It really wasn't. She's maturing and playing with in herself. She didn't play her best. Her maturity level has raised her game level. And now her average level of play is automatically higher. She doesn't have to play her best to beat the best players anymore.
Coco, a force to be wreaked with.
The quality is so crisp. Can Sydney send their camera gear to Cincinnati?
Gauff is NOT messing around. Let’s go USA! 🇺🇸
Now I started to love Gauff. Incredible win and humiliating Iga
🎉🎾😀 Congrats to both players especially, COCO, the winner.
Congrats Coco❤ just too❤ good
The level of athleticism is astonishing from both players.
Calm down, I’m 16 and play high school 🏈 and Coco and Iga have nowhere near the amount of raw athleticism that I have.
The days of Iga routinely beating Coco are over. The tide has turned.
Yes!
Definitely, it's coco era 😂😂😂
This proves that (again) that sports cannot escape the woke agenda, this player is a product, like others, they gave her the US Open 2023, the Masters 2024 and now they are planning to give her the number 1, she's not even that good, and the REAL number 1 was playing hyper slow, through out all the tournament, i'm tired of the WTA corruption, hope the new US president will do something about it (woke in sports), CHRISTUS VINCIT, CHRISTUS IMPERAT. DEUS BENEDICAT TIBI.
Maybe
@@elmoblatch9787 I see coco winning two or three slams this season
Cold handshake from Iga well she is always sad if she losses for her country. Well played Coco this may become a rivalry
It’s the same when Coco loses with Iga. Why do you see it only when Coco wins?
Well Coco lost about 12 or 13 straight to her, so yea the consistent loser isn’t that happy.
@@yoshikay8787def not the case but it’s cool 2-0 in the last meet ups for COCO ! Let’s see who becoming the frequent looser now
IGA IS THE BEST❤
@@iswlfk It is NOT the same. Coco is never rude and cold like Iga was at the net. Ever!
This was a confident, comprehensive win over Iga. I was supportive on the other wins, but Coco did her thing. Solid win... No more ugly wins!
👂🏽👏🏽🥳💜💜💜
Match fabuleux 🥰🤩Coco impeccable 💪💪waou waou. Bravo aux deux joueuses pour le spectacle 🤩🤩❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Coco Gauff is a force to be reckoned with -- a silent, stealth killer!
She is also humble with impeccable manners.
Well done, and God bless x
Yes, yes, yes! Very humble and likeable 🎉
PUFFED UP, RUDE AND WHAT HUMBLE????Check previous videos when she loses!!!
It’s crazy how the tables turn, in past matches coco’s forehand and inconsistent serve used to be Iga’s path to victory. Today Coco hit her forehand on top of the baseline and took time away from Iga’s forehand setup. She actually used her serve to dictate points strategically too. Beautiful to see her growth especially against someone like Iga👍🎊.
This was beautiful to watch
What a match! That's two times in a row Coco has beaten her. End of the year Championship and now. Go Coco❤❤
Not a Coco fan, gotta give her props. She’s really getting better and better.
Well I am says Coco💜💯🎾
Amazing from both gals today , but i have to say Coco has improved soooo much & her fh and defense top notch today. 🔥🔥🔥
