Great episode ~ no disrespect to the sponsors, but it was wonderful to see a few extra cars this time around, instead. That Terraplane truck is just wonderful, and I loved seeing the progress photos when it was pulled from the "crick". Really makes you appreciate the dedication and cash people lavish on these vehicles.
That Ford A Rod was gorgeous, should be more people respecting the original body and just making the rest more slick, really neat and thanks for showing it. (also, what was wrong with the US in the fifties...pink cars xD)
I have the same 56 4 Drhdtp. Mine needs a restoration though. I have it slated to be a lowrider.... hydraulics, coffin like interior, wires wheels and all.
My folks had that model. Beautiful car to ride and drive, but it went through power steering pumps (I remember 4), transmissions (3), cylinder heads cracked between the valves (1 set), starters (3), plus air conditioner problems, plus the nickel and dime stuff.
My family had this exact car in 1969, bought for $1,100. It was driven to Minnesota and back that summer. After a freeze plug blew out my father had it parked on our front lawn, behind a fence until 1977, when my parents sold it for $150 as is. 🙁
Beautiful Hudson TERRAPLANE pickup! It has a interesting name. -- Terra means earth and Plane means a flat or level surface. So the Hudson Motor Car Company called their cars and pickups Flat Earth cars and pickups. Isn't that interesting?
The Cadillac is a beauty. I have a 1955 Cadillac 4 door.
Thanks Mr. Dennis
Awesome town, awesome park, awesome cars. I can't imagine a better car show to go to.
Splendid!
Beautiful cars and excellent program !!!!!!!!!!
Great show, and thanks for adding the timestamps in the description - adds to your proven quality!
Fantastic show, the cars and trucks were great.

that 56 Caddy is the most american thing in the whole wide world, just stunning.
Very nice cars.
All pretty but I came to see the Cadillac!
