Every 4 up til re veronica except re1 I didn't like that one because it was too difficult and zombies evolve making it a hassle and the infestation problem above the mansion. I had to cheat for that one to win.

This game was the last episode of true Resident Evil!! And it had the best music of all the franchise. I wish they do a remake of this.

I said the same myself, Code V was one of the better resident evils. after RE-CV, it went downhill, 5 and 7 are the worst! 4 my fav next is 3

Chris talked about that Paris headquarters of the division that he unofficially took over in Resident Evil 8. They can't leave us without a Code Veronica remake, the story is actually parallel to Resident Evil 3 Nemesis.

My favorite RE of all time, best OST in the series, great weapon variety, great enemy variety, love the Ashford twins they are awesome, wesker is awesome, so many areas and puzzles, get to play half as Claire and half as Chris.... do i need to say more??? I don't even want a remake i just want a remaster with up to date graphics!
I never played code veronica, but some people on internet tend to say its the hardest of revil games. I find revil zero a very difficult game too, but particularly i didn't like it. It was so generic and never felt immerse like the other games.
games that brings me very feelings is revil 1 and outbreak. I never played them, back in the day i was still a child, but i used to see my uncle playing it. he loved horror games. After i grew up i missed these old times but then i get to play the remakes. The reason i love outbreak so much is that is the only game that features the infection as a real thing: you get bitten you die, or else you get a cure in time. Its the only game that brings a realistic sense of fear of getting bitten.
Another problem is Jill having a pattern for her face changed. Jill face that most fans love is the revil remake face, smoking beautiful. Same with Leon and Chris, they nailed their faces, also revil 2 remake brought a really nice Ada Wong.
But then shit started to happen....i got so angry that they changed jill valentine face on revil 3 remake. This is so disrespectful with the fans, changing a character face every game makes the character lose its identity, the thing people love and feel connected taken away. Back to square one.....
the ashfords weren't that great. wesker was like fan-service, the environments were kinda empty etc but still a nice game
@@athletico3548 RE3R was a complete train wreck in many ways tbh, one of the most disappointing games i have ever played especially coming off RE2R which i loved, unfortunate, IMO RE0 is the hardest but your first couple of plays on CV will be difficult for sure but there is plenty of ammo and healing items around and you can take quite a lot of bites before you die.. i'm really not that much of a fan of Zero i Platinumed it and that's really the last i will see of that one

She was also Jubilee in X-Men. Imagine a plot twist where Claire Redfield reveals that she’s actually jubilee in disguise and she actually has the pyromaniac super powers from X-Men. L O L
As for voice acting, there is something about the other actresses that annoy me and make Allison Court almost irreplaceable F Claire Redfield.
Leon Kennedy and Jill valentine did not get this type of downgrades when they came back to resident evil.
Even Chris Redfield got an upgrade. The only person who got a downgrade from the PlayStation one era is Claire Redfield.
And this goes even in the story. For some reason this seems like such an insignificant game and for the most part the two things that people remember the most out of this game is that resident evil that used actual 3-D models and that resident evil where Steve died.
They have written the Claire Redfield character into an absolute corner and I don’t know what’s going to happen but I don’t have faith in Capcom in reviving her character with any type of credibility considering what they did in the remake turning her into a post-millennial.
Everyone else however got a better treatment.

@@jacobschmidt2709 Because I played some other resident evil games. This was more cheesy and corny than RE1. All RE games have survival horror to some degree. Gameplay wise, I thought before RE4, Nemesis was the best, coz it put more focus on resource management and surviving the nemesis.
This game was a good game, IF you ignore STEVE. And he is not an optional character, he is always there to annoy you. I don't hate this game, but I understand why people dislike this game.
As for character development, this was THE LAST TIME Claire Redfield mattered in Resident evil. The moment she escaped with Chris in the harrier, her relevance in Resident Evil was OVER! The non alison Court movies don't count. It's like Capcom had a plan for everyone else, EVEN SHERRY but had NO PROPER plan for Claire.
Any more explanation than this, I'll have to make a video, which I will do if you want.
Used too love playing this on dream cast when it came out on that system first!!!!!

Re 4 has been made with high quality rtx or non rtx, with real engine 4 maybe, and they also must be doin expanded in maps and mercenaries and their playable extra characters and it must be in the feature DLC, like on RE 7 😁

i liked this RE. It wasn't my fave, but i've passed good moments on this game. i have nice memories. but it has some imperfections which need to be re-seen in an eventual remake.
otherwise it's a shame he didn't take the duals Calico's pistols the zombie who threw himself into the dormitory had , at the begin of the game, , they would have been useful for him during a big part of the game. he also plays very clumsily.

First resident evil game of the 2000s I think. Such a classic.
I love Code: Veronica but the HD remaster is tough to look at. As far as I know, they threw the game into the MT Framework engine (the same one powering RE5 and 6) but they did a half-assed job - or, more precisely, they didn't have the time to rebuild everything for that particular engine (it would've been more of a remake than a remaster) and so this version is stuck in a very awkward position: a few things got improved (better dynamic lighting and volumetric shadows - OG version had static, round shadows like the PS1 games) but many others (colors and contrast - I reckon to try and hide the lack of detail) got messed up. That's why the PS4 version is the PS2 edition running in emulation mode (and slightly stretched on the X axis for some reason). This game deserves so much more.

I remember playing this on Gamecube. Years later I wanted to play the game again but my Gamecube stopped working. But I chose an alternative which is emulating games. I experienced Code Veronica again on the Dolphin Emulator. I sat on my chair, get my gamecube controller ready, and played. This game will always be my top 5.

I still can't get over the fact that Capcom might remake 5 OR 1 over this game.
I get it, they see this as the black sheep of the franchise, and 5 or 1 would sell A LOT more (probably at the same pace as RE2R, but slightly below RE4R), but that's why they should try to remake CVX AND fix issues people had with this game. Heck, an entire new generation of RE fans (those who started with the remakes or 7/8) are anticipating the reunion of Claire and Chris in the RE engine. They also have a new Wesker model now.
At worst, this game's remake would sell as much as RE3R. Still profitable. Speaking of, I just hope that this game won't get the same treatment as RE3R. SURELY, Capcom realized that cutting content and basically changing half of the game won't go down well with the fanbase again, right? Seriously, this game deserves a remake over 5 and 1 first.
