Capcom should have used the RE1 remake as a blueprint for all remakes.
Because RE1 remake is still the greatest remake because it doesn't replace and cut instead it preserves everything from the original while adding things that make the original even greater.
This idea i can get behind. It even had the stupid dialog in a modified way. Sandwich .. yum.
1. Financial Restriction (making AAA game nowadays is expensive, like very expensive)
2. Hardware Restriction (wouldn't be fun if you can install only 2-3 mega games in your tiny PS4 storage)
Somethings must be cut, hence rather new story to accomodate.

Everyone talks about the things missing from the original... But this game has the best boss fights in the entire franchise, and a lot of unlockables.
Far from it. Nemesis was a push over stopped by 3 inch wooden doors. Mr X was more intimating than nemesis in recent games. If this is the best the franchise had to offer in bosses (as re2 was generic) i fear for the future.

Why yes if it wasnt beaten over your skull enough to what type of game message was being sent, lets watch a 110lb woman lift a tank canon. Regardless of how anyone feels about that, it was all pretty terribly executed. What im trying to say is that is the remake got nearly everything wrong that made the original a sleeper hit to begin with.

Watched this get played through when it first came out. Agreed with the bulk of the negative comments. Still do for the most part. That said it's weirdly kind of grown on me since then. I'm ok with remakes taking a different approach but yeah the short length of this is not great. Actually like the resistance multiplayer mode a fair bit. Imo ppl mostly got mad about it because they wanted mercenaries instead, which I can definitely understand.

The original was short though. I rented it and beat it in one sitting. To me it's always been the easiest and quickest of the originals (up through 5 anyway)

He just uploaded edited video on RUclips with 4k @60 with RT look at older games like MAD MAX on ps5 game is via BC game is only playable ( 1080p and 30 fps ) but uploaded on RUclips is 4k 60 that's what he did with this video too u can't play Mad Max on ps5 in 4k and performance mode is gray out coz u need 2.1 hdmi port on ur tv

Its overly short when compared to the recent RE2 which was nothing more than condors. Its short because many believed it was DLC presented as a full game which was a very bad idea. I hope the world is coming to expecting more from companies when making 'remakes' or whatever else with good game names. It was short, no replay, no live selection events, no randomizer of items and half of the locals cut. Thats alot to be upset about and for good reason.

The first three games all were about about two in half three hrs long, if it took you all day to beat those games you’re obviously trash. None of the original games were long at all go on RUclips and look at how many videos of the original games of people beating the game in under three hours, can’t tell me shit when you obviously wasn’t even born when these games came out. Bro I love horror games but I can't play them. I enjoy this one a lot because is not really horror and you don't feel helpless like you do in Resident Evil 2 remake. Play this one. It's worth it. Don't listen to what other people say. It is a game that stand on its own. Without referencing to old school re3 .

@@IbukiCleani just got done playing it, and out of all the new gen RE games, i have only missed out on re4. I personally enjoyed re3, however i would recommend buying it on sale only because it’s a little short compared to the other games. There is plenty to loot and look around, but people are upset because it was missing some sequences from the original. i never played it, but i still had a blast with this one

REmake3 was a slap in the face to any RE 3 fan that grew up with the title and people who played REmake2 and 1 who had high expectations. It may have been better if they didnt release it at all.
-The lack or downgrade of the gore from REmake2
-Nemesis is too scripted and isn't as scary as Mr. X or his OG counterpart. Hell, he is so easy to beat without waiting ur ammo or life. Not to mention, item drops are absolutely worthless.
-Remake Jill’s personality is super snobbish basic “idgaf” bitch attitude rather than the sophisticated and compassionate professional she’s supposed to be.
-There's not enough time with Nemmy before turning into a giant Xenomorph Dog.
-It's very linear gameplay, probably the most linear game in the series.
-Nikolai is somehow more of an over-the-top mustache-twirling villain than the cold, calculating OG version. and is the main antagonist rather than Nemmy.
-Shitty puzzles and not many in general.
-Too short. (Even for an RE game.) Just too short to justify the price, really.
-Raccoon City is underused and relatively shallow.
-Cut content.
-One ending.
-Not enough innovation.
-The combat was terrible; why would they bring the slow-paced combat system from RE2 into what was supposed to be a more fast-paced, action-oriented game?
-The QTEs and the scripted parts are too many and so annoying (The intro of RE3R is the biggest offender of this.) it makes the game boring when they take control from you.
Dodge mechanics though an improvement from the OG, make the game too easy than it already is
-2 boss fights with Nemmy, which involve doing the same thing (when he runs in circles, which also is like, wtf? He's designed to come straight to you with no mercy, yet here he is, running around and around like a prat)
I could keep going, but I think that is enough, and I won't waste further of ur time. The only thing that would make REmake3 better would be if it didn't exist in the first place. Lol. Or if they remake it like RE1 was remade, the story and characters remain the same but with added content like Lisa Trevor and the shark tanks and with RE2remakes mechanics.

Too many cutscenes, removed most of the original areas, not enough puzzles, weak nemesis battles, and a short play time. 4K graphics won’t improve this game. Capcom should’ve thrown in a dlc or two. I’m not sure why they skipped DLCs for this game when we got DLCs for re2 remake and village.
