Thank you so much, I've been in a bit of a worry trying to learn crochet in order to make a small doll for a gift, but after this video, I think I'd just rather knit this and some tubes and then stitch them together for the final product, this tutorial looks incredibly straightforward, and I won't need to bother with a magic ring for a while now
The way you knit is mesmerizing! I know too close to the tip of the needle, and I admire how you bake the needles move. I couldn't stop watching. Thank you for the project!
You are so welcome! I knit like my Grandma used to knit and my Mum and Auntie still knit like this, I find it mesmerising too and can remember watching in awe as a child. Have fun with the bauble knitting! 🎄
Thank you so much for this video! I'm making this for my mother and I know she will just love it. This tutorial is easy to follow with great instruction! Recommend for beginners or someone who wants a quick easy knit with beautiful results!🧶🧶🧶
Hi thank you for the great video it look super easy! I have question…what if I wanted to knit a small ball like really small where I can put a small bell in it…..do you know how I can achieve it?
The simplest way to achieve this is to use a thinner thread with the right sized needles for the yarn - like worsted weight with 5mm needles. This will give a smaller finished result with the same pattern. You'll still have a ball at the end. I've created different sized baubles using different yarn and needles. happy knitting!
This is brilliant as it is on two needles! I taught myself how to knit over Lockdown but I can’t cope yet with knitting in the round or Magic Loop. I’m going to knit some planets for my friends with aran on different sized needles!
Do you mean with a different shape, so like a diamond, or with two colours so the triangles are a contrast? Both are possible, it's just changing the pattern. I will be designing more Christmas decorations, but not for this year. If you need it sooner you'll likely find something close to what you need online if you search Ravelry.
You’ll either need to use intarsia technique or embroidery once you’ve finished.don’t have colour knitting tutorials yet, except in videos exclusive to a couple of kits.
The smaller ones I think I show in this video were made with worsted/aran. You can use any size of yarn really, you'll just end up with different sizes of baubles - make sure the size of needle matches the yarn. happy knitting! 🧶
I’d suggest using the same pattern but holding the yarn 2 or 3 strands together as you knit with a thicker needle than you’d usually use for the yarn. So if you’re holding 2 DK strands together choose a 6mm needle, instead of 4mm. Happy knitting! 🧶 🌲

You are so welcome! yes, good idea. These can certainly be sewn together to make larger items. Happy knitting! 🧶

Great! Yes, that was my intention, knitting something so small in the round can be so fiddly. Happy knitting 🧶

What a great idea! Different yarn sizes and needles will give you different sized planets! 🪐 happy knitting 🧶
Planets! Brilliant! Magic loop is more trouble than it is worth.
Cute and easy! Thank you!
Hi Jae! At this time of year when things are a big hectic I love a good simple decoration making session. 🎄

I am a very good at knitting
Brilliant! Have fun with this pattern. 🧶🎄
Hi Hannah, great tutorial! Is there a way to knit one with triangles coming down from the top (in a different colour)?

@@KnitWithHannah I'll check out Ravelry. I mean if you use 2 colours so the triangles just contrast

Can you make with worsted weight yarn?

I'm using smaller yarn to make this bauble. Can I double the pattern if I want a bigger bauble?

HANNAH I LOVE U
Thanks Erin! Happy knitting 🧶
How many stitches should you have after knitting row 4?
I don’t know without watching the video. The pattern here will give more detail: knitwithhannah.co.uk/product/yt-tutorial-patterns
