    Just love watching the two of you. Makes the end of the weekend go down a little easier. So happy that you both will be spending Christmas with Carlos' parents. You will have such a wonderful time together. Again, hope that Arne is feeling much better. Arne and Carlos was founded in 2001.

    I remember. We got the book for our store, which was still running. In 2015, we had to close after 42 years in business - due to 3 years in red numbers. Was very sad. But Mom retail stores are having hard times with the internet. I‘m sure, if we would have made it through 2019, we probably would have to close now.
    So, sharing your podcasts is for me like being in a friends house, knitting together, and having fun and great conversations! Thank you for what you do!!

      Using the double-pointed needles does feel a little weird at first, but it looks more difficult than it really is. You are using each needle in sequence. The other needles are just hanging out, waiting their turns. I actually prefer the DPNS to circular needles.

    The picture seems to be a 2 white beetle (circa 1968?) with a bit of red something. Perhaps it’s a Christmas tree on the roof of the car or a chocolate Santa Claus from the first floor of the gingerbread house. ❤

    Hi! Could you please explain what you mean by “twisting”? Thank you so much!

    • @TylerLKelly
      @TylerLKelly 4 года назад +4

      I think what they mean is bring the other colour across where are knitting. It will be trapped and carried with the colour you're currently knitting with. For an analogous video, it is a bit like ruclips.net/video/Fz292NAjH2M/видео.html but not every stitch and the yarn is still attached to the balls. You'll get some tangling between the two balls but you just have to unwind that every so often.

  • @loriannsummers2534
    @loriannsummers2534 9 лет назад +4

    My knitting teacher took this one step further by using initials on the ball as well as using a hard smooth foam styrofoam insert - 3 1/4 inches (instead of stuffing) which I like better. I took it one step beyond that and made a monogrammed pattern in my balls. I live in the Southern United States and we like everything monogrammed!
