I love you both! I just bought your pattern for 24 Christmas balls from your website and I bought the Norwegian wool too. I can’t wait to try my hand at this. I’m pretty sure I can learn stranded knitting. Thanks so much for a wonderful set of patterns and for your inspirational videos to learn new things. I like to learn something new every day. I crochet, knit and tat so now I’m getting into colorwork in knitting at age 76. So exciting. Thanks again, Arne and Carlos.
Yahoo, it’s Wednesday … time with Arne and Carlos! Am enjoying the reruns of your most popular and favourite episodes and their new introductions. Love how Arne continues to giggle and blush with very “ball” comment and how Carlos makes a point of making as many “ball” comments as possible. 🤣
Hope your both having a nice break. Looking forward to catching up on your return. I have never tried knitting with 4 needles. I am sure I Would not get my head around it, it’s bad enough being left handed. Well that’s my excuse. Hehe I like your cardigan Arne. Thank you for today’s re run, enjoy the time with your friends. Loved that cheeky little giggle Arne. Be careful when pressing your balls however.😀 x
I've been knitting balls and they definitely are very addictive. So far they are plain - one colour. It is time for me to try a pattern from your book. Thank you. I love small simple projects.
I have fun watching both of you! My mother has a neighbor who has a Christmas tree in EVERY room of her house including the bathrooms! Her house is amazing with so many decorations.
I hope you’re all having a wonderful vacation. I love this video. I think I watched it 5 times when I knit my Christmas balls last December. I look forward to more fun these holidays. The countdown you did was something to look forward to every day.
LOL, you guys are so cute! I just love watching you both. I don't comment that much, but I really do appreciate what you do. You are really wonderful! Thank you so much!

Another great re-run. I bought ur book on Christmas balls last year and will be making a set for each of my family members. Thanks. I do like Wednesdays and Sundays. See u both on your return. 👌👌👌👋👋👋
Hi Arne, hello Carlos. I have you Christmas balls book and I got you advent to knit the balls last year.. I never plucked up enough courage to start a Christmas ball, do not know why lol. However, after I knit the Easter eggs from your patterns this year, I feel as if I could now manage a tiny Christmas ball, they are vey cute, I love them all. I will give it a go for this next Christmas. Great to see you both enjoying the lovely sunshine. Take care and I will see you soon xxx
I love this video, I’ve watched it so many times already, and have slowed down several parts when I was learning how to make the balls. And I will probably watch it 100 more times! I LOVE CHRISTMAS BALLS! 2020 was my first time making the balls and doing colorwork. Your patterns are so enjoyable and easy to understand. I am so excited more Christmas balls are in the works!!! ❤️❤️❤️
You’re not known now just for your balls, but they are a big part of you! 🤣🤣🤣 hope you’re continuing to have a lovely break and look forward to your Fall announcements! ps couldn’t resist particularly as Carlos seemed to be saying it deliberately to start Arne off laughing, and me too!
Ho, ho, ho guys. Hilarious viewing. Yes, so funny when Arne laughs at the mention of your balls. I admit I laughed too. ( must be the heat indeed 😎. Enjoy your jolly holly and hope we get some shots of your road trips. See you soon 🌞
great to see you glad you are haveing a great summer i am having a good summer to going to watch your christmas ball video see you sunday merry july christmas
Chirstmas balls is how I first found you guys. I was happy to find out that there's also so much more in the Arne & Carlos universe besides the lovely Christmas balls
I should have taken Carlos seriously! I have started knitting more Christmas balls after seeing this rerun and I can't stop. My other knitting have been put aside because I finish one Christmas ball and I cast on another one! Its a sickness at this point. My husband laughs at me but he says that I am getting better at making them so that's nice to hear. Again, I will always taken Carlos seriously when he issues any future warnings!.
@@ARNECARLOS Yes, shes 9 now and we've been doing it for the past 5 years. I tried to teach her to knit... maybe this year her fingers can learn the motions.. I think the Norweigen Knit will be easiest. I'm left handed and I knit left handed - shes not LOL. Maybe I should teach her to crochet first? LOL.....
Good afternoon from southcentral Kentucky, U.S. The Christmas balls are gorgeous! I am trying not to think too much about making one, because it would end up on my Future Projects List. Christmas in July! I had to check the calendar when the 24th & 25th were. It will be in the middle of the annual [Maiden Name] Sister Road Trip. Sister and I will be driving (10hours for her, 7 hours for me) to Holland, Michigan. Her daughter is working in the town for the next several months. Niece is the main reason for the trip. But there are lots to do in Holland, and sssooooo many lighthouses to visit. I haven’t celebrated Christmas with Sister for a long time.
I'm on Crete right now and it's just too hot to even think about knitting. I'll start in September. I found your book when I was in Norway last time and I just love your Christmas balls. You can never have too many of those and they makes the perfect Christmas gift as well.
Those are beautiful and I loved watching you make one! I have one of your books. It’s a duplicate stitch though and I struggle with duplicate stitch. So maybe there is another book or pattern pack out there that is knitted like is this video? I will read through you notes. Anything knitted appears addictive!
Your guys cracks me up thanks love to get a small balls love the laughter lol not good at ordering things how can i get the patterns for the small balls
I love Christmas in July theme. I saw one of your Christmas balls with Norwegian words and thought that would be a great theme for the balls sometime, to have words related to Christmas as the decoration. Just a thought (because I only know a few words in Norwegian). Enjoy your lovely holiday!
My husband and I we’re watching the tv show “lilyhammer “ , and to our surprise they mentioned the youtubers “Arne and Carlos “. We were so excited, the sad part was he kill someone with the circular needles, hahahaha
Arne and Carlos, I wanted to try knitting christmas balls this year. Being in the US 3.0mm needles have been difficult to find. Having knitted so many of them yourselves, which do you feel would work better 2.75mm or 3.25mm?
Hi boys. We never had Christmas in July in Argentina ... Are you famous for your balls? Ha ha ha it is the heat Arne. And yes I.buy Christmas decorations when I am traveling...was...
What is the sweater pattern that Arne is wearing??? I've really like it and saw it in an inspiration book and hanging on a book shelf and now the whole sweater.Ive never seen it anywhere or in my huge collection of vintage patterns.Anybody know what it is ??? 🇨🇦♥️😁
Can someone please explain to me what they mean by "twisting" when working the colours? I'm confused by what that means. I've tried knitting my first ball and it's tight in some areas, it's my first time doing colour work so I think maybe my problem has something to do with the "twisting" they mention, but I don't know what it is!
Anyone else having trouble purchasing the mini Christmas ball pattern? From Ravelry link and A&C website it’s not able to be purchased… any help is much appreciated! XO!
Oh gosh I am one amazing woman who is controlling herself with difficulty I am determined not to write what I am thinking just use your imagination and I want you to Know that I blame my intermittent fasting as it does wonders for the brain it wasn't nearly so fast with the double entendre last year.
