They both have their good points. The nice thing about the medal one is that you can twist the sockets to line up what size the socket is. I can speak for expensive sockets but, the cheaper ones never really line up. Meaning, the stamped size and the bottom of the square hardly ever line up. And the medal one can be twisted so you don't have to waste time looking for the socket you need. The plastic ones fit tight so you can pack more sockets on one rail.
I got suckered into the husky ones too I paid 10$ a rail probably around a 150 worth of them while I could have gone to harbor freight and got the cheap one's doe 1.99 a piece
The harbor freight ones that look like the plastic husky ones are not at all equal in quality unfortunately. They are a much more brittle plastic. I got excited about them until I had them in my hands. Price was too good to be true.

I like to use socket rails in my tool bag for work away from the shop.For my toolbox at home I have the Hansen socket trays.Great video!

Those craftsman rails look just like harbor freight. You can't buy them individually but the 3 sizes are only about $4 for the set
The quality is not even close. I definitely checked out the harbor freight ones that look similar.
