- Advantages of Uterine artery embolization : -
It is performed under mild sedation, requires only a tiny nick in the skin, recovery is significantly shorter than from hysterectomy or open surgery, virtually no adhesion or scar formation has been found. (In surgery, adhesions are common), adenomyosis and if fibroids are present in uterus are treated together in one sitting, (which is not the case with surgery), uterine artery embolization involves virtually no blood loss or risk of blood transfusion, If the presenting complaint was severe pain & excess vaginal bleeding, 90-95% of cases experiences resolution within 24 hours and Emotionally, financially and physically - embolization can have an overall advantage over other procedures for the patient as the uterus is not removed.

I’m going through all this right now, and I went to see the doctor today and all she said was that my choice was to do the hysterectomy and that she could give me another hormone to keep stopping the bleeding because the cryselle (hormones) she prescribed messed me up by developing IBS pain on top of the adenomyosis pain. The heavy bleeding stopped after 3 months of the hormones (but I refuse to take more hormones because I ended up in the ER from the combination pain of the uterus and the IBS!!!!) this other treatment seems hopeful instead of the removal of the uterus since I am 41. I will go see another doctor because after today’s appointment I felt really discouraged because all that doctor said that I was cured because the bleeding had stopped and that I had to manage my pain with Tylenol as needed. But I’ll need to take so much Tylenol that I know that that is not good for your body either. I’ll finish my liver!!! I wish doctors could be more conscious and empathetic.
Mam my wife had the same problem of adenomyosis, we had consulted many doctors and one Dr. Tulsipriya suggested to try with Merina and my wife tried with Merina and with Merina she's is very normal Now . U can even try mam. What doctor says in this video is almost right.🙏🙏

Untrue. Many Women still have pain post total hysterectomy. It's a misunderstood disease.
Women who have not gone through pregnancy also have Adenomyosis. So the reason that C-section causes it is not a reason good enough.
I got it from C-Sections
I got it after childbirth.
So c section is the prominent cause , i too think so.

@@sakura3553 that's because that area of your c section would have formed scar tissues. That's what endometriosis is all about scar tissues forming but not limited to surgeries. For women with uterus, we can form scar tissues just by monthly cycles and without pregnancies from our teenage years.
