Most people overreact to this but in general do not want the CPU to hold me back so I much rather have a CPU that is solid so that I can make sure I get full performance from my GPU

@@Amthe_human I would but I’m not really sure what’s going on… you could go into task manager and make sure it’s not running and that Riva Turner is not running. If they are running close them both out.
Restart your computer and then make sure both MSI and RIVA Tuner are running

It runs everything at an average fps of 50
With normal settings
I tested cyberpunk 2077 49-70
Miles morales and marvels spiderman 70-88
The quarry 50-70
Gta v(80 -100 fps)
The worst one was hogwarts legacy with 39-50

I downloaded a game with really high graphics on accident its almost perfect
I have 1050ti.
I downscaled everything in the Nvidia control panel to very low (maximum performance) I play csgo with 250fps on low settings and low resolution.
Fun thing is I have a ram that is 10years old and motherboard what is 10 years old😂

On mw 2 I can only get a steady 45 to fps however with some further testing I found that even though I have an 8th gen i7 it’s locked at 2.40 ghz (this is a dell g3 laptop from 2018) which bottle necks the whole system otherwise the 1050ti is an absolute powerhouse
Yeah I get that. I tested on the lowest settings. I also had a ryzen 7 2700x in the system. I am amazed it still runs as well as it does.

Tried this GPU with a 7th gen Core i5
Results are:
Valorant getting an average 250-300 fps (lowest quality)
Minecraft low quality w/shader getting an average 90-110 fps

I got for years a gtx 1050 sadly getting old and can’t run in fortnite properly even if i lower to 60 sadly upgrading to a rtx 4060 ti will change my life

To get the best option you will need to upgrade your motherboard and ram as well.
I would look at something like a B450 motherboard with a ryzen 5 3600

@@SpaceStrike that might be all your CPU can do. You can always try going into the bios and enabling XMP or D.O.C.P depending on your motherboard.
@@MMillerPCs oh sadly I have a Dell oem board and it’s sad but I don’t think it’s even possible to change the ram speed.
Also do you think I need to change my thermal paste(I never have in 5years) but could that be my lack of performance?

Unfortunately… you are going to have to upgrade your CPU / motherboard / ram to get rid of stuttering

Im planning on getting a prebuilt hp elite desk with a 6th gen i7 16gb of ram and 512gb of ssd storage and then installing a 1050 inside it as a nice upgrade from an intel celeron n4020 with 4gb of ram and 128gb ssd😂

My friend has 2 monitors and when he checks the specs in monitor 1 it's not showing anything but on monitor 2 it says the hz and it says the graphics card and its this and his pc is weak af 20 fps at fortnite on all low performance mode so does that mean he needs to play from his second monitor?(btw I'm not that good in pc I just know barley what's a graphics card is and a processor)

No that’s right. That’s what you’d get with an i7-4770 too. 1050ti is solid for these titles on performance settings.

The best bang for your buck right now would probably be the RX6650XT
If you want to stream with it you will better off with NVIDIA, so I would try to find at least a 3060 but they are a little more than $300.

i have 1050 ti, core i5 7400 and 8gb ram that are 5 yrs old, back in 2018 i would get like 200 fps on fortnite and now its like 100 fps, like 60 fps in fights and it can drop sometimes to zero and block fully and i have performance mode and all settings low so idk if i should upgrade something or just work in summer and build a rx6600, ryzen 5 5500, 16 gb ram for like 700 euros, ill probably still use this tho i think 5 yrs is too early to be switching cuz its alot of money

How does it runs in Warzone and Conan Exiles?
I’m not sure about Conan Exiles, but you would probably have to do 720p in Warzone to get 60fps consistently

Is it just my laptop or the difference is really big, my 1050ti barely touch 100+ fps, even on old title, paired with i7 7700hq boosted at 3.5 ghz, barely overheat
Well the laptop is slightly slower… but also it’s been a few months since I posted the video so Fortnite updates be crazy sometimes.
Games like valorant and csgo are cpu intensive. If you pair 1050ti with ryzen 5 5600x you get 400 fps

There not bad cards but more geared towards 720p or 900p gaming than 1080p, i have one myself to play older games on like cod black ops 2 batman arkham night, cod bo3 and they all run beautifully at over 70fps, some even in 1080p@@MMillerPCs

Price/performance my friend. You can easily find RX 570/580 with the same price. and they will demonishes GTX 1050ti in everything. in 2023 at least get a used RX 570. 1050ti is not enough to play todays decent games with no doubt.

@@MMillerPCs I checked bench mark the usage of processor is upto 100% and the gpu were around 50% that's why it's bottleneck because they are not matching it only bottlenecks in high end games like ac origins cyberpunk etc
