Ps, Chilchuck's race, the half foots, have a short live span at 50 years. So Chilchuck is technically a middle aged man. Elves and dwarves have a long lifespan so they tend to have trouble understanding this (Marcille is 50 and Senshi is 112)

This show is animated by studio Trigger, their past works have very hype over-the-top animations, which you can still see them in this. Though they're dipping their toes into food centered content this time.

Falin 23, Laios 26 human (tall-man) , Chilchuck 29 (half-foot) , Marcille 50 (elf) , Senshi 112 (dwarf).
We must base on their life span to consider their mental age. Half-foot's lifespan is only 50, so basically, Chilchuck is middle age-guy right now. Marcille, Falin, Laios their mental ages are almost the same, although sometimes I think Marcille's mental age is younger
The age for maturity for an Elf is 80 years, so Marcille is the youngest of all of them.

i think you're using subtitle for english dub. they do a good job for the dub but their words choice is a bit different

Maybe Chilchuck should be the equivalent of 34 years old in Tall-man age because their average lifespan is 60 years.

And also the short-lived race *Tall-Man and Half-Foot both take 28% of their lifespan to mature,* while long-lived race *Elves and Dwarves take 20% of their lifespan to mature.*
But for Gnomes it was different, their lifespan is 240 years, this race has 40 years old to mature same as Dwarves long-lived race with 200 years lifespan *but they only takes 17% of their lifespan to mature.*

also, no one appreciates that marcille didnt just fall back asleep as soon as chil left. she came shortly after and you gotta remember how little time passed since he left, she was just only a little late.
they are the subtitles for the dub i think, not necessarily a bad thing though, the dub rocks
