That awkward moment when you keep relating to the antagonist more and more...
seeing New Horizons objects, characters, props and locations be seen from angles and move in ways they normally don't in-game, you give the world surrounding the game such a breath of fresh air and life that isn't present anywhere else. I love seeing all the objects get made and put together. How much hard work it must be to capture the style, it looks perfectly like in-game! Massive praise for all the hard work you do.

I love how you make Animal Crossing eerie without using cheap horror. You make it subtle by using music, sound effects and altering just a bit, not too much. I also loved the Inception reference, when the music was playing slower in the dream then in real life suggesting that time is slowed down when you dream.
There was a Get Out reference, too, when Isabelle was told to relax, then "sink." I love this series, they're doing such a good job.

Sometimes when dreaming it feels that way. Other times it seems to go by lightning-fast. There are some days where it feels like I only went to sleep five minutes ago and yet it's morning now. Other times I feel like I've been doing something for weeks and it's only been a few short hours. And then there's the feeling when you wake up and the world feels.....different. It's weird. It gives me the impression that the person that made the Deep Sleep series might have had similar experiences.

these are getting better and better. the claymation in the dream sequence is masterful.
the details were SPOT ON from isabelle's socks to tom nook's folder labeled "evidence", you do such great work and its amazing how you take a lighthearted and wholesome game like animal crossing and turn it into a horror movie. keep up the great work, i really admire you.

@@MK8MasterJunjie well, for one, Baylee has been on RUclips 3 years longer than you, has more alluring thumbnails, and also consistently gets thousands of views on all videos while yours fluctuate from 20-200 a piece.
No hate, I’m unbiased as I haven’t heard of either of you, but it doesn’t take long to compare the profiles and see why.
Not to mention there’s a million other gaming channels on this website and it takes lots and lots of work to be relevant in that community, and art is a completely different genre that Baylee seems to excel at ;
No offense to you because you can get more subs if you put more heart into your channel, but Baylee is not only more experienced in creating videos, but is amazing at the genre of videos being created on the channel.
so, as an outsider to both of your channels, I conclude it doesn’t take long to see why Baylee has the bigger following, and I encourage you to look at someone’s channel and take these notes yourself to improve your own instead of saying “how the hell do you have more followers than me”, implying you think you deserve more when one glance shows who puts more effort into their channel.
You may upload a bit more often, but I find the quality of the videos is more important than quantity- so don’t be afraid to polish things and get a catchy thumbnail before posting them.
Idk if I’m making any sense here but…. Yeah. Being on RUclips longer, excelling at a skill and making it the focus of your channel, and having pretty thumbnails will get you more subs.

I know you do music on this channel, and I’m not sure how or why you started doing these animations, but this feels like this would be your calling in life - to be an animator professionally. The storytelling, story progression, the dialogue, the cinematography - all of it is so well done. I hope some big animation studio finds you and offers you a job (if that’s what you wanted to do), because you’re a writer and storyteller and more people need to see the stories you have going on in that amazing creative mind of yours. ✨

@@Maber610 or more accurately, making the 3D render look like clay to give a great effect on dreams. It's more efficient than using real stopmotion if rendered right (The Lego Movie also looks like stopmotion but it's actually all 3D), and it's beautiful!
I love that you add in the little bell sound whenever Isabelle moves her head! Honestly, all of the little details are so good and well-thought out

That first dream sequence was mindblowing. There was more of this look of molded clay that I can't imagine would be possible in 2D.

Great taste in island flags! Isabelle is so sweet, she needs to be protected at all costs! I adore how much life you put into her with just what she normally does and says. And the extra abilities/roles you give the other characters make so much sense! Every video is better than the last. These keep me on edge more than horror movies

No wonder he looked so resigned in the last Episode of Town Meeting :( it seemed he had a hard time voicing out his concerns which hints at more sinister events going on behind closed doors. Raymond got bought in an auction by mask boy in the "In boxes" episode. I believe it did end with him in a maid outfit. Update: rewatched "in boxes", no maid Raymond haha. I feel like it was in one of the subsequent episodes, but alas I must leave for work now haha.
In the scene where Raymond brings Mask his phone, you can barely see that he has the maid dress on.

I'm guessing that Wisp recognizing Isabelle & asking how she's been as if they know eachother might be a reference to his role in New Leaf where if you invite a special character like Isabelle to Harv's Campground, he'll take their place for the day, albeit with no idea on what to do. And since this is New Horizons, the Isabelle here would be different from the one in New Leaf.
That or he's seen her when he is visiting the island during an even Isabelle hosts.
But those are my guesses.

The attention to detail is just phenomenal, right down to the flecks of dust and dirt on the gas mask when we get that close-up shot. This is more than a work of art; just an outstanding short film. You deserve so much praise for this masterpiece!
This is a masterpiece. I know you've got a set amount of Animal Crossing shorts that you want to make, but seriously...this whole series of shorts needs to become a show. It's great.

i think it's worth noting that, with the fact that Isabelle's hair tie is yellow in the dream, it may imply this isn't Mask's first reset. he's done this before, and this Isabelle is getting some other Isabelle's vague memories before a reset happened

This is amazing!! Isabelle is so cute, the art style of the dreams is cute but eerie, and all the other details just work so well!
This series is legit one of the greatest ones I've seen in awhile. It's genuinely terrifying in some scenes, and you write these characters so well that they actual feel human in a way. I really can't wait for the next one. Very very well done!

As a ac fan that really wanted a twist to the original idea and as an artist in development I truly appreciate your constant updates of this plot line! I love all the details: the clay aesthetic and lower frame rate of the dreams, the way Isabelle's ears interact with gravity and the wind, Isabelle's quick willingness to go "under", how Mask lists Tom Nook as "Scrooge" on their phone...another mastapeece 👌🏻

Having the title music play as the sign of him returning (and how it plays slowly in dream) was brilliant.

This short is INCREDIBLE!!!! I'm obsessed 🥰 Some of my favourite details:
🌟 Wisp's lightspeed travel from island to island, and the smooth way the camera moves around the other players. SO COOL! It opened up my imagination about the lore of this world. I like how the background is blacked out and the only light in this scene comes from Wisp as it's his recollection of the scene.
🌟 The bell in Isabelle's hair jingles slightly when she moves
🌟 The detail of fingerprints in the claymation
🌟 Dramatic pointing lady meme as the flag 😂😂😂 (Is it a nod to everyone using the custom spots for meme content?)
🌟 The way claymation Isabelle spins away after she's thrown by Mask boy.. idk why but it's satisfying to watch and there is the right amount of weight and weightlessness to her spinning like she's been thrown into outer space.
🌟 I love how the garbage bag is a real image cut in pasted onto the screen 😂
🌟 Having the theme song be slowed down in the dream state (a nod to Inception 😊😊😊)
🌟 When Isabelle leaves the dream state we briefly see different levels of sleep as she wakes up
🌟 Wisp's cool white glow bouncing off the surroundings
🌟 1:57 just everything about this scene. I love how the scene is bathed in soft pink light just like what you'd associate with Luna's dream address. Also, I love seeing the furniture free-floating. I'm so familiar with each of those items, I enjoyed seeing them in that much detail.
🌟 The way the room pops into being at 4:03 gave me Howl's Moving Castle vibes and that made me so happy
🌟 Also, the sound effects are perfectly placed! For example,. at 2:10 as Isabelle falls past the big Isabelle heads, the deep sound effects give a sense of weight and scale to those objects

I love the crumpled paper look of her dreams and how there are references to her announcements in her dream too.
I love how Ofelia is hanging in the background on Luna’s home. The original piece of art resembles the death of something beautiful and innocent, just as the animals (mostly Isabelle) that are in Mask’s town.
This one was AMAZING! The flow of the story was really captivating and the visuals were so good! I especially love the different texturing during the dream sequence. Excited to see where the story goes next!

I barely have words to describe how much I love this series ! Best animal crossing content to be found on yt in my opinion, and an amazing serie regardless of it concerning animal crossing ! I'm absolutely loving the story and animation so far, not to mention all the little details put into it, and god those visual and sound atmospheres are so well made ! Amazing job ! I came to this channel for the fantastic comedy, and I'm staying for the absolutely amazing animation.
That dream animation looks detailed enough to be real stop motion, but it is blended so perfectly with the CG animation that I have to assume that it's ALL CG. Incredible work!!

These animations are so well done and what an engrossing story.
This is utterly amazing. Please PLEASE keep posting these. I am living for a horror animal crossing animation. It's so beautifully rendered and so moody, yet you don't take away from the animal crossing cuteness. These are some of the best animations I've ever seen and I would pay money to see a horror movie made out of this.
This will probably be my favorite one, every shot was beautiful and the animation was stunning, I cannot wait to see what happens next. I’ll be replaying this one for a while.
