Embarrassing maybe. But you caught it and got it fixed. Great job learning how to speak Italian, and run a construction site. You have a great personality and an incredible tireless work ethic.

I spent four years renovating an old country house here in Italy. One suggestion: take a lot of pictures and videos of every room before closing walls and floors, so that in the future you have a map of all connections and pipes.
Seeing how complicated this build is, I’m thinking “wow what brave and determined souls to continue to make this dream a reality. Most people would have run at the first sight of the plans! “ Nothing short of amazing
I admire your character, how you own your mistake and not blame others. It seems in these current times people often try to blame someone else for their mistakes. I respect you for this.
Please give that guy cutting the stone a mask as well as ear shields! So dangerous breathing in all those fine dust particles? But got to admire your good humour and perseverance. 😊
Yes..i have family that put up solar electric fencing to keep animal, chickens in and foxes ,horses out...might really also need it when you start a gsrden...great to sre your program ❤
2:55 the European building codes are more advanced than American ones. The use of corrugated tubes to run electric wires allows to replace and repair faulty lines without opening up the walls. Also it is an extra safety as the ducting acts as an additional layer of insulation. Also, all wiring can be hooked up before pouring any concrete. It just doesn't make much sense to wire the entire electric system, or even run wires, before finishing the building shell and interior walls, given the use of ducting for the wires. Edit... BTW since you are running water lines in the floor, I would suggest you to check what you'll need to do in the future if a line breaks, what are the chances it happens, etc. And, eventually, investigate options and costs to have also the freshwater piping in the floor to run in ducts (which could be made out of simple PVC piping for drains). Better than risking tearing up the floor later. I don't think this is normally done, but I guess it's at least worth asking the plumbers since they are on site right now.
Just one thing after another but Brady, nothing gets you under. I have never seen so many pipes, cables, tubes .... and .... in a building/renovation project. I have learned so much.

Heather you make me smile. There is very few times you don’t have a beautiful smile on your face. Bradey you work so hard. The house is going to be absolutely beautiful….. can’t wait
Watching from Denmark 🇩🇰 😂😂 I was working as a teacher. During a lesson the schools handyman asked if he could interrupt us for a couple of minutes and hang up a clock on the wall above the sink. He drilled a hole and when he pulled out the drill the water stood out from the little hole. All the kids and I laughed. He rushed away (probably to turn off the water) and call a plumber for help. Don't forget to also put tubes to pass the ADSL internet cable to the rooms, because otherwise you will have to put WiFi repeaters to have coverage throughout the house. In case you don't have it planned.
Good idea! Crazy we had to have our ethernet fix today. Apparently lightening struck outside mess up the service. Even though a surger was attached. But that savecwhat was going on inside the home. We just notice our outside cams and ring cams were down. They did an awesome searching and even updated the main Wifi box inside. But the way my son ran things inside simplified all the fixes. So yes he needs to think of that now too in his home design.
You need to invest on the mwsh moveable fencing, electrify it so the goats get detered. A lot of farm here use them. No machinery needed. Just your foot,a mallet, and some posts inbetween this fencing to keep it from sagging and goat jumpi g over them. Even the girls can put these up. It is called -- Premeire Fencing
A quick hint for dealing with conduits with a lot of turns that wont fish, is to use either a Jet-Line to blow a drag thru (*assuming no J-Boxes), or using a vacuum to pull a string thru to use as a drag. As far as embarassing mistakes, you can't do construction or remodeling with out a few. You're doing GREAT! All y'all are.

RE: the goats - have you tried a mix of vinegar and water in a spray bottle? I have heard that many animals don't like the smell of vinegar. Their milk is, however, better for you than cow's milk. What do the workmen think of your plans?
Well, learning all the words in Italian and have to think how they are named in English means, you are more and more becomming used to Italian live, and that is what counts!! Great video, and mistakes happen!
Believe me over the years you will appreciate having those junction boxes, they provide flexibility if you will need to modify or add more wires. When you put the skylight in I immediately thought you need to put a hail cover over it, not because of hail (which I can attest WILL destroy a skylight), but because I saw a fabulous goat crag (your slate (rocky) roof) - perfect for a bunch of goats doing their thing, goat surveillance from high rocky crags. I nearly commented but decided I was just being a Debbie Downer, you were so happy.
Give yourself some grace. Glad you found the error while it was possible to make the repairs at this stage. Very happy to see the progress being made. Cheers to Andrea too!! Rooting for you Brady. Keep going.
For the goats get a solar powered electric fence (they're not near as expensive as having to replace the skylights are the equipment) and that would stop the goats
Why don't u setup a fence , a good one , behind ur house on terrace to prevent goats climbing on the roof , may be going extra length , blocking entire house from behind .
It's exciting to see how close you are to having your house in a livable condition. I can only imagine the relief you felt when you realized you hadn't drilled a hole through the main. Many happy returns!

Those goats were probably raised by hand. The tendency then is to explore dwellings etc. (I was a goat farmer in my younger days and my handraised goats did the same)
considering how much work you've done on the house, that wasn't as bad of a mistake you're doing a great job I enjoy watching the transformation. It will be sad once you're all done building your dream home. The video has been enjoyable to watch.
Hi matey, A suggestion to get rid of the goats is to get a loud noise maker. A loud sharp sound should hopefully deter them away. Plus a busy construction site is a productive site. Great progress is being made.👍
a MOAT! That is amazing...but also such a great whole video about resiliency and taking pride in creating something that lasts for generations to come. Thanks again for sharing.
Will the neighbors be replacing the window that the goats damaged or is it your responsibility to keep them out? If it's your responsibility, how about looking into premiere one fencing that you can place anywhere, it's perfect for terraces.
The house is looking so nice. Congrats on the progress. Nice that the plumbing fix was not too big a deal. One of these days you guys need to put a blooper reel together.😊
Wow, so much work accomplished! Can't wait to see your home with drywall up. That will make a huge difference. I'm so enjoying your channel. I started watching when you first began work on this property. What a wonderful location. It's been great watching all of the discoveries and the reno process.
Good thing you caught it and was able to get it fixed right away. They fixed it so quickly. You continue to persevere through this build. Dedication and will through this journey of building your Italian family home is awesome. It will be worth it!! Aloha from Hawaii 🌺
Those electrical wire pipes are amazing. For example, many homes are upgrading to install ethernet connections around house, and these pipes make it crazy easy. As usually there should be extra space in pipes.

Great job Brady for thinking outside the box.
considering how much work you've done on the house, that wasn't as bad of a mistake you're doing a great job I enjoy watching the transformation. It will be sad once you're all done building your dream home. The video has been enjoyable to watch.
You are doing a very good job and coordinating the various unforeseen events well, congratulations. Greetings from Barcelona.
Andrea sticking it and flipping it🎉. Excellent performance ❤. A true expert!
Hi matey, A suggestion to get rid of the goats is to get a loud noise maker. A loud sharp sound should hopefully deter them away.
Plus a busy construction site is a productive site. Great progress is being made.👍
So close to big clean up before moving in!!! Brady and crew and family. Well done!!
..... looking like an actual house .....
Excited, too. Thanks for the lots of fun I'm (vicariously) having with/for all y'all.
Very good team, project really moving along now.
That last shot was beautiful!
Very very good thank you my friends ❤❤❤❤
